CAM Issues with version 641

Hello there,

I've been following Simtropolis since 2014 but this will be the first time that I will ask in the forum. 

Just wondering why CAM doesn't install in my SimCity 4. It was downloaded from GOG and has a version 1.1.641.0. I was successfully installed NAM Lite and SC4Fix but not CAM and it is telling me to patch it to version 138. However, when I tried to patch it it says old file not found or something? Does CAM really do not work on version 641?

You’d only need to patch your game if you installed a disc version. These require two patches to bring the game up to 1.640.0.0. Digital releases include the patches and show as 1.641.0.0. Functionally every of those is identical.

So the question is how did you obtain SC4, if you have the original disks then the patches just need applying correctly. However if the .exe or game files have been modified that process will never work.

I bought it via Steam. Downloaded it there. But I decided not to pursue CAM anymore. I am happy playing it with the Non-CAM
