Awesome! Just upgraded my CD version that won't run in Win 7 without major hacking, to the Steam version which is already patched, no CD protection and runs the first time.

You'll want to go into Steam Library, right-click SimCity 4 Deluxe, Properties, Set Launch Options, and insert something like: -intro:off -CustomResolution:enabled -r1920x1080x32 -d:directx  -f -CPUcount:1

I picked it up on steam a few years back, and has to be the best purchases I've made on steam, SC4 has to be in my top 10 games or even 3.
