hello

I don't have alot of time durring the week as I work now. I do most of my batting on the weekends or if I really want to get something done I do it in the mornings before work.

right now I have been working on my LOTR Region and I am working on a few small lots for my Marshes on my map. I started a Mill a little while back and took a break from it.

I plan to make some Hobbit Farms updated ones and some mega Lots and Residential lots and get them on the stex.

I have time to wait to get the team organized I am also on the Sim Mars team  (I am the Batter Team Leader) over there. If the activity pics back up on that project I will be busy again.

My MSN is marymlr2002@hotmail.com

Please just use the MSN to chat All Emails are to be sent to the Gmail account allready should have been sent to you all.

As for ideas on running the team I will leave that up to you.

I have a templet for files allready I just don't use it all the time.

Well thats about it for now.

here is what I am working on right now.

****EDIT****

here is the latest update on the mill. I did not like the house I had on it before so I have started to redo it..

Guys they look awesome! Love the 60's office building - espicially the arty side bits & the hobbit stuff: the hillsides must kill the poly-count! Very cool.

I'm just about to release the 1820's house I was doing (on other thread), but I was working on this Gothic revival semi-detached house from Annandale (about 5ks from Sydney city) which is full of these things. Sydney has heaps of theses gothic-y looking houses (a bit like the addams family!) Still finishing chimneys (those red things), doing some stuff with the widows' walk and just finishing up the nite-lites, but seeing as I've been off work this week, I should get it knocked off soon....

Hello all

I don't know a whole lot about how you want to organize things.
Suggestions
Assign each BATer a modder and a couple of testers so there is no confusion of who is getting what.

Since Modders seem to be in short supply each may have more than 1 BAter they are modding for.

Since testers are the most common they shold be assigned to only 1 or 2 BATters to test. If every tester is testing every new lot it could become a problem. Also since some of us may at time become unavailable do to RLS certain testers should assigned as back up to certain groups of BATers to fill in.

As for team sturture in terms of who is in charge well I will leave that to those who do the work and know more than I do. I am just here to test the lots and maybe figure BAT out. I keep trying!
Hope you don't mind the suggestion

I think we should have each modder tell us what his/her specialty is, for example, one that likes to do commercial or is good at doing the stats of a commercial building might choose to avoid doing an industrial building. As time goes on, we could according to demand assign each modder/lotter to do a certain kind of building, or if that person is busy, others can do it too. It's going to be hard to organize this in the begining, but i'm sure the leader will find a way.

I also think we should have an assembly line going, like a person sends his model file to that person and that person distrubutes it to the apropriate modder and lotters and then they will send it back to the distributer and the distributer will send it back to the original person so he/she can release it on the STEX. Again, this is only a suggestion.

and anyone that needs a building to be rendered, i can do it.

Please NEVER EVER think that you're over stepping your authority to make suggestions.  The more suggestions that come around, the more I have to chose from and the better this will be!  1.gif

well, most of my work in LOTing has been reLOTing stuff for own use, and that mostly includes putting in more flora and often just playing around. I can LOT whatever you want me to22.gif

Also my works in BAT are as I said still a little shy, and I think I should play around a little more before I can make anything of the same quality as you guys.

@Simen: Don't hesitate to show us your work in Underworld's forum if you prefer not to have so many people watching on Simtrop... or PM it to me because I'd really like to see it. 19.gif

@Everyone: I do re-creations of RL buildings and towers with lots of cylinders and round parts. 3.gif

actually, in a pinch i can do some BATting in addition to testing.  not much, though, because of my older computer.  i make smaller, generic-looking buildings (eg. houses, small offices).  i'm not very good at LOTting or modding.
