L1 and L2 Flex Flys break

I'm trying to make a triple level interchange (L0-L2) where two 6S highways are connected by a L1 flexfly and a L2 flexfly and they're breaking where everything meets (see photo below)  Is there a way to fix the network without rebuilding everything?  Is what I'm trying to do even possible?  Judging from interchanges others have made and posted on this site, I believe it is, but perhaps I'm missing something.  I'm just reacquainting myself with the NAM and, really, I'm very much a beginner.  Perhaps, I should just try something else.  Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks so much in advance.

FlexFly pieces are limited in terms of what networks you can cross with them.

In this case your probelm is that two FlexFly pieces can not overlap each other. The reason for this is the sheer amount of code that would be required to make it work, a minimum of half a million extra lines of RUL2. By comparison the entire NAM contains somewhere between 1 million and 1.5 million lines of RUL2 code. Therefore until a beter solution can be found, you will need to move one of the curves to make this work correctly.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

Ahhh!  Okay, I was afraid that was the case.  I'll just figure out something else (I may be back. ;) )  I'm very glad I installed the extra cheats mod while I'm playing with/learning the NAM.  I'd be bankrupt by now.  Lol!

Thank you so much for the explanation, rsc204.  I see that adding at least a half million lines would be problematic.  Yikes!!  :O

even if you hadn't. if you press Control + X , type in weaknesspays , then highlight and press Copy, and alternate between pressing Ctrl + X and Ctrl + V.

Is there a ramp level below the starting grade? If so, then one ramp could go over while the other goes under.

There is a L0 flexfly, but is affected from the same superposition problem, because of lies on mixing different networks on the same tile. What some users do is to use road to subway fake tunnel portals to simulate a tunnel doing the curve.

When Ganaram was still active, he did have a more feasible proposal to allow FLEXFly-over-FLEXFly situations, but only at certain points in the curve (right in the middle or at the ends).  This would reduce the code required by a fair bit, and still allow common T-interchanges to become much more compact (and make a QuickChange Xpress FLEX pre-fab T-int much more viable in the future), but even the reduced code is going to be fairly complicated, gnarly stuff, due to all the adjacency situations.  I do plan on investigating it further down the line, however.

actually there's a reason why I don't do this and elect to do it the harder way. I am concerned that if I end up with too much money it might cause the game to become unstable. I'm sure there is a limit to how much money you can have and if you exceed that limit weird things might happen.

Absolutely, at a certain point the number switches to a negative.

But I usually keep the amount within a sensible range, max of 10 million say. There is no chance of such things if you do this. But if you build a massive RHW interchange, re-building it say 20 times in the process to get everything "just so", you are going to need a lot of cash. I have no interest in seeing how much money my cities can make. So long as the budget is in the black, I'm pretty lax about funding large infrastructure in this way. Since I'm far more interested in building transport stuff than building cities personally.

well given its a 32 bit game, it would probably be safe to guess that this is it.

Seemingly not, I can add many zeros to the end of that number without seeing a negative... but perhaps I've got the information here wrong. I read somewhere that beyond a certain point, something does go very wrong with the money/budget. But I can't easily find the thread in question right now.
