Hi, I'm new here 0:)

So I just got my new MacBook and installed Cities Skylines. Its running fine and smoothly, but theres some weird problem with the lights in the game... There are these hexagons around everything that produces light. How do I get rid of them?

(I'm aware that Mac's are not particularly made for gaming, I still have another windows computer but I don't always have access to it... It would be nice if CS was playable here :uhm:)

Yes I do. Yet I did some research before I got my macbook, with a lot of people saying it still works fine on integrated graphics. I didn't buy this computer primarily for gaming, but I still hoped it would be possible playing CS every once in a while...

Integrated graphic cards aren't supported and while some people have been able to run the game anyways, alot of them can't since the last patch. Basicly your macbook doesn't live up to the minimun system requirements. ;)  There's more about the whole thing here, though it's likely the unity update is to blame, which means CO can't do anything about it. At least you have access to a pc which can actually run the game. :)

That's weird. I'm also on a MacBook with integrated graphics and I don't have any issue (other than the game running slower than a sloth)

I had similar issues with my MacBook Pro. Unfortunately Macs are shitty for this game and myself and many included just got lucky that it worked until didn't. I had Paradox try everything under the sun to help and the solution was get a PC for $250 and just use stream network streaming to play on my mac.  Sad alternative for me but it worked. and dignity cost me a fortune.
