I don't know what is happening to my roads all of a sudden but as I was playing my game this evening I found that I can no longer drag out wide radius curves in any network because they break up like this:

u3C04dztrE_c5xlbnK5GjQbS_r5c6oSWqKL_3_GgtQkh9uGAnmtivw9585MJADXtq_lzRs79Lu5wsmM6EoYrYj5a9j_Cu4uX3Rp0cec47VAy83LY3wbtZvLfjZvqTd02BkZn6nfzpcHmd0dYXS3oFh3qnPqVo8sJ8-PVFZS3e4qhrURdiuDoCzTm3fpi3ZE_VsfoO4DI5h_Rzasc1YKkpLZMroDObP8lVoyqoWD-hE7hjlXnpg1XwuaNtHfFrX7ajhXMD9F7so14Bis5ndS26GocCpMfHUIkswbbieSCK70fjrIpJ0aJZuEfgPHdKnrhbsNTFe-ND30bvdHAOVNmY8hhTJdx52zkiCbHq6zkbNvbjE8Yv3L-In4tET9mXbbzK1GhmsEq9YWsEYiX5aMtUuqulGy056bwEPipa_hCuql6hyy3qJmbB6NxERpzzihjWIo6QO9zSbWqmW7bRKuPbY2smzwXFlP66-yuUZwIht1NhwydMwAZutE4HqDzOL-GeYWPy9UoCViXefAuW7uXT6uUjol1U-tXhhaxZQCBHCqYNsAeKCYdDS3dpwlPgR_kevNj3e7ZJjiKpMaHVn_0GeUKpgGOJ1_iZ4HHNXbwu5DYk2SuM68Q=w764-h611-no

I've never had any issues with curves in any network since I've been using NAM until now.  Puzzle pieces work fine as long as I don't try to drop them on top of these broken curves.  If I keep the original tight curves I can drop the puzzle curves on top.  Any ideas on what is causing this all of a sudden?

All of them are working fine here on my end.  There haven't been any changes to them since they were added to the NAM (the Road ones are from NAM 31, the Street ones from NAM 32).  My guess is that something went funky in your installation, and you're somehow missing either the INRUL files (or have another file interfering with them), or the RUL2 code isn't compiled into your NAM Controller.

If you go into the Plugins\Network Addon Mod folder, you'll find a file called "install.log".  If you zip that up and attach it, it would help in diagnosing just what went wrong here.  The solution is most likely going to entail a reinstall of the mod.

I'm assuming I'm going to need to reinstall NAM 35 to fix this issue with my curves but, I need to ask; is there anything I need to do before reinstalling it?  I mean, do I just reinstall over it or do I have to remove anything??  I'm guessing not but I want to be absolutely certain before I do this.

I'd give @Tarkus a chance to look at the install log first. In this instance it looks like something has gone wrong. Perhaps you have files you shouldn't remaining from a previous installation? Perhaps the NAM installer in error didn't install something it should of? The point being, until we know what the problem is, the solution is tentative. I'd look at it myself, but I'm not overly familiar with it myself, sorry.

Head over to my Lot and Mod Shack to keep abreast of my latest developments.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

New to the NAM? Check out my tutorials on YouTube. Latest upload: How to: RHW - MHO Roundabout Interchanges. (Nov 25).

p.s. - I'm MGB over on SC4D and a member of the NAM team.

Thanks for providing the log.  Based on what I'm seeing with it, I'm baffled as to why you're encountering this issue, as it appears you have, to quote Radiohead, everything in its right place.  The RUL2 file for the WRCs was installed, as was the proper INRUL files for Roads and Streets to support both the WRCs and Roundabouts.  Either something went awry in compiling the Controller, or there's some extraneous file somewhere else that's interfering.

Before reinstalling, you could attempt to manually run the Controller Compiler (look in My Docs\SimCity 4\NAM Auxiliary Files\Tools\Controller Compiler, and run NAMControllerCompiler.bat) to see if that fixes it, but otherwise, I'd go right to reinstalling.

Thanks for looking at this for me.  I ran the Controller Compiler and took out everything except the RHW and NWM and then tried to make the curves but nothing changed so I will do a reinstall and see what happens.

Success!  A custom re-install of NAM 35 seems to have taken care of the problem with my wide angle curves.  Not sure why but, I'm just happy that they're working again.  I've also attached the updated log file in case you need or want to take a look.  Maybe there's something there to give an answer??  Thanks, @Tarkus
