Hello guys !, Alfin decided commitment to put the Bat. I decided to do with SketchUp because I find it easier to work .... etc ....

First of all sorry my English, as many know'm from Chile and English gives me bad.

Anyway, I bring the first project that has really gotten me .... Shosen Book Tower in Akihabara, Tokyo ... As I'm starting so would appreciate the help, Greetings

If you need help with Sketchup let me know and I'll try to help you. First of all, don't let the outside faces be this grey/blue color, it needs to be inside, otherwise you'll have big problems later on Gmax or 3ds Max. Right click on them and select reverse faces. In future projects if you texturize the model and you don't remember if you checked the faces, just go to View > Face style > Monochromatic.

Hello again. I bring a small step ...

in Photo 1, an overview, turn the faces and improve some details.
in 2: with the "Paint", I put the iconic Japanese signs, missing many but a good start and help me as a point of reference.
3: leave the back for last, because I have very few photos, as is back, and the stairs there will be a problem ...

You can model in sketchup if you want to, but you should definitely do your texturing in 3ds Max.

good, sorry for the absence, but my wifi had problems .... bring some changes ...

1) the detail of the edges of the doors
2) the signs were in Japanese

Te respondo en español porque veo que eres chileno (saludos!) y supongo que me entenderás mejor.

Con respecto a los 'nite lites', no sé si habrás visto el omnibus y tampoco sé cuál es tu problema exactamente, pero te recomiendo que le eches un vistazo al tutorial que se llama BAT Essentials. Ahí te explican todo lo básico incluyendo como aplicar las luces (link) a tu BAT. 

Una sugerencia: tu edificio se vería mejor si modelas los ductos, aires acondicionados, etc, en los techos. De esa manera, tendría un efecto 3d.

Y un último consejo: sería bueno que vayas viendo el trabajo de otros batters. Yo también soy novato y, simplemente leyendo aquí en los foros, he aprendido harto!

Regarding the nite lites, I'm not sure if you've already checked the omnibus and I don't know what exactly is your problem, but I suggest that you go and check the BAT Essentials tutorial. It explains all the basics including how to apply lights to your BAT.

Suggestion: your building would look better if you actually model the air ducts, the AC, etc, on the roof. That way it would have a 3d effect.

One last advice: it would good that you check the work done by other batters. I'm also a beginner and, simply by reading here in the forums, I've learned quite a bit,!

regarding the nights-lights, have you patched the game fully, without last patch night lites from custom content won't show up.
