Is it ok to upload something that no longer is avalible? online?

I recently posted a photo in a "Show Us" thread that had Bobbo662's Sheetz Gas Station.

 

I've now gotten multiple comments of people asking about it. I'm wonder if it is ok if I upload it,as long as Full Credit is given to Bobbo? I know the Tokyo Dome was recently updated by someone else so I am wondering if this is ok?

Unlike Gobias, there still is a reliable way to contact Bobbo. I do not think he would mind, but I do not feel comfortable making that assumption on his behalf. I can ask him though, if you want.

The only other thing I would be thinking about before uploading them though, are the cohort issues. It's well documented that many of his creations have problems. Basically, most of the files have a parent cohort that causes whatever invisible building he used to be added to a Maxis building family, causing an invisible building to appear on Maxis lots. I think that when making the lots, he simply started from an existing Maxis lot and then forgot to change and nullify some key values. This is the main reason why most of his work was pulled from the STEX and LEX. He simply did not have enough time (or want to invest all the effort) to make all of those changes to the lots. Since the advent of PIMX, it really is a quick and simple operation to fix it, but in those days, would have involved a lot of copy paste in the Reader.

Unfortunately, in the early days, I did not know of this, meaning some users had lots of problems. That is part of the reason why I am going back through all of my B62 stuff.
