All the files, including the one you want to unpack, put them all in the same folder

mine are here -> C:\Program Files (x86)\CRP-Extractor

The DLL's you need are here -> C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Cities_Skylines\Cities_Data\Managed

My folder looks like this..Untitled.thumb.png.20c57f969a757255507e08116bf6bdcc.png

It looks like CRP parser can't unpack the new file format for assets. The 1.8 update changed something about the file format and LSM also couldn't load the new format, fixed now though. Only assets saved with this new version have the new format.

Also an out-of-game crp editor to swap out meshes or textures, change thumbnails or change variables would be really cool, but doesn't seem like there is anybody capable and/or interested to take this on.

I can't get this to work. When I click on the exe, a command prompt flashes on the screen and nothing else happens. No error message or anything.

I acquired the .dlls from Cities Skylines and placed them in the folder. I have a newer version of .NET Framework.

How do I get this to work?

you need to run the exe from the command line with the required parameters. Do not use it but at least a file to parse should be added as parameter I guess.

I don't know what that all means. I'm not a programmer.

It works exactly as explained in the first post.

But it doesn't seem to work for the new asset file format. (Assets saved or updated post 1.8)

Wow!  Great tool.  May I use the source code to create my own project?  I am building a style manager because at least for me... the style manager breaks down after five minutes of use to the point where I have to exit the game and restart.  When I am trying to put all my assets in styles, that makes things pretty much impossible.  Anyone else deal with this problem?  Anyone know how to fix it?  I disabled all mods and it still occurs.  (I did not disable anything besides mods).  Either way, my mod will probably work much better.

Hi all.

I wanted to implement some new methods to your tool, but since it is easier for me to do a project from scratch, I would like to propose you this tool that I am doing.

https://bitbucket.org/johnwhile/cityskyline-crptool

At the moment I am completing the reading part to be able then to reverse the process, using the files to rebuild the crp file

To investigate the file structure I used both a hex editor (the program is 010editor and i add the template crp.bt) and DotPeek to view the ColossalManager.dll

I'm new here. Inquiry would like to have these two parts that I'm still missing from the Berlin Palace in the left screen as meshes in the right screen. Tried using the mod tool to get it done, but it doesn't work. Please help. Habs already with CRP parser unfortunately only tried the dome but not the rear part. with Modstool also no success only middle part there.

Spoiler
