Help! Asset Editor

Can someone explain how exactly you replace default screen shot and thumbnail by clicking the little folder in the corner when you go to save an asset. When I click it i have access to my images but it just opens them in windows image viewer. How do I apply the image I want?

If the image you want to use is already a .png file and has the right size, then you just copy it into that folder. If not then you need to open your image in an image editing program, resize it to 400x224 pixel and save it as a .png file. You can also add text to it if you want.

Please explain how you apply the image. Does it atomically appear in the scroll as one of two snapshots or do you click on it in the file or drag it over to replace?

It should appear by itself. If not try renaming it snapshot1 - That usually does the trick.

What I usually do is I copy and paste my image in the folder, delete 'snapshot.png' and rename my picture to 'snapshot.png'. I never resize my 1920x1080 snapshots because the game resizes automatically without affecting the ratio (in this case). But that's because I'm lazy
