Hi, is there a bridge for project symphony? How wide does a river have to be in order to get a RHW bridge? Thanks

Just drag the MHW tool (the one repurposed for Project Symphony/Maxis Highway Override) across the gap you're trying to bridge.

Assuming all things are well, and the bridge dialog pops up, just select the RHW-4 bridge (any one), since this is what PS essentially is. You do not use the RHW tool to drag out PS bridges, because you can't place two bridges next to each other to get them close enough for adjacency (hardcoded in the game).

Yeah currently you must use the RHW-4 bridge. It's worth knowing that you should also use the special connector pieces on either side to transition back to PS.

I have made PS overrides for both the Level Highway Bridges (L0 / L2). So in future there will be two dedicated PS bridges, albeit basic ones.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

Thanks for the info, but It's not giving me the MHW option, I'm thinking because it's not long enough. I'm only getting the standard maxis bridges. The river width is 9 tiles, and I'm thinking it's just not long enough to get the MHW option. I could be wrong. I've seen the MHW option lots of times before, but usually I use longer gaps. This is more of a canal.

Ok, so use a terrain tool and make it wider to test. You can exit without saving so it doesn't mess up your city. ;)

What option is that? What you need to do is use the MHW tool to draw the bridge. Then select one of the RHW-4 bridges, which are also drawn using MHW. There are bridges to cover crossings spanning only a few tiles all the way to a massive suspension bridge. So you shouldn't find a situation where no suitable bridge exists.

OK, I understand the problem now. The options you are seeing are the MHW (Maxis Highway) ones. However, none of these have yet been converted to MHO (Maxis Highway Override). The confusion here is because for Ground Level MHO, you can substitute them with RHW-4 bridges which exist. However, no such RHW bridges exist at L2, hence the only options for the elevated highway are the original MHW ones.

The basic level crossing bridges are little more than the original network with pillars on them. I've already created these MHO-compatible replacements in Feb:

As you can see, there is a problem with the T21s that handle the lighting on the bridge. I'm a bit stumped by the problem actually, but I do hope to get the bridges into NAM 35 one way or another. I might have to disable the T21's temporarily until they can be fixed.
