BSC No Maxis Files not working

I recently downloaded this mod, but I'm still seeing maxis buildings, even though I have a lot of custom buildings installed. How do I get this to work? I've tried the mod that's available here on this site, but it also wouldn't work. I'm using CAM by the way, and I heard this one is CAMpatible. Could it be how I have it installed? I took the files I wanted and places it into a folder I have in my plugins folder named, "Buildings & Props". Any help would be greatly appreciated!

There are two different places which have a Plugins folder. One is in the Program Files\Simcity 4 and the other is in your My Documents\Simcity 4 (or equivalents depending on your version of Windoze). Typically you do not want to use the former. If that happens to be where you put it then your Buildings & Props folder might be loading before the Simcity_1.dat and then when that loads it would override the mod.

Yeah, I put all my mods in program files. That may explain why I have the occasional mod which doesn't work. Thanks, I'll try this!
