Sketchfab! Sketchfab!! Sketchfab!! Sketchfab!!!!

What is it? It's a way for us assetbuilders to showcase our work! It's got Steam integration: the first pic, done via Add / Edit Images & Videos - enter a Sketchfab URL. If enough people are willing to add this functionality to their assets' Workshop pages, we can easily preview stuff without having to download first and potentially getting a sad face afterwards.

Getting alpha maps to properly work with your assets requires some horsing around; I've already forgotten how I managed with 2Pru, I'll post about the best settings here in this thread when I've got the handle on it, but BOY is this already a nice way of showing off!!

Here's my profile: https://sketchfab.com/koesj. Get going! Upload your work! Add me as a friend

Thank you @Darf for bringing this to my attention!

Yeah, saw that last night. What format did you use to get textures to show?

    Awesome, for everyone else...

Right now, under scene/general/renderer I'm using PBR, which is also Unity 5's standard setup IIRC (which C:S of course doesn't use :D).

Then, under materials: use your _d map as the albedo with metalness or spec set to 0; the _s map goes into glossiness at 100%; _n is normal, quite straightforward; the alpha map goes into transparency, logically, but the settings are quite specific - right now I'm using alpha masking  at 100%, with the texture set to bilinear filtering and luminance format. Still not getting great results on my alpha masked models though :(

I just dug this one up to link some people and I realised a lot of newer creators might not have seen it. Also if I remember correctly Sketchfab now auto checks the "Flip green (-y)" option for normal maps, which shouldn't be checked for our normal maps.

It's a great way to have a peak at how others make their models, since it can show the wireframe. I find it a great way to learn from others and it's a great way to show off your work too. I've got a bunch of my stuff here and follow the other creators I've found for those interested. :)
