Loading and Crashing

My Cities Skylines loads slow and crashes on exit to main menu and desktop, I disabled all my mods and assets and it began to load faster from 20 minutes to nearly 5 minutes, But when I try to leave the game crashes on both exit to main menu and desktop, so I can't turn on mods one by one to estimate the loading time. Any help on how to stop the crashing and speed up the loading?

I have this problem too. What's your output_log.txt like? Can you compare it to mine?

You have to unsubscribe from all workshop items. Then clear your workshop mods download folder (Program Files (x86)/Steam/SteamApps/workshop).

Actually I did a clean uninstall then reinstall and the game loads much faster, like 3 minutes of loading time.
