Hi, are there any street tunnels, especially aftermarket ones? Thanks in advance.

Don't think so.  I assume you tried it by dragging a street.  You probably have to use a short stretch of road.

Thanks for the speedy reply. I found a 10m street flup that i'm kinda making work, but its got a graphic error on it. It's from NAM 31 or 32, whatever the current one is. Anyways this'll work I think.

Good luck.  NAM is getting to be so large that someone recently accused it of being bloatware.

NAM is getting to be so large that someone recently accused it of being bloatware.

Modular Bloatware? No one is forcing anyone to install anything, you can have a NAM install less than 100MB with the custom controllers.

There are two street FLUP pieces, a ramp and also the tunnel portal. The tunnel portal does show a problem in one zoom/rotation I believe, but otherwise is pretty useful. Use Home/End with the street FLUP selected to switch between them and also some pedestrian stairs.

Head over to my Lot and Mod Shack to keep abreast of my latest developments.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

New to the NAM? Check out my tutorials on YouTube. Latest upload: How to: RHW - MHO Roundabout Interchanges. (Nov 25).

p.s. - I'm MGB over on SC4D and a member of the NAM team.

Yeah, I'm using the street tunnels and they're fine at the zoom level I'm going for. I'm trying to do something that will work in theory in my head, but I haven't finished this idea out yet, but here's an idea of what I'm doing with it.

The bridges do work, but as you can see the river is going to drop (waterfall) several times, and to the far right (off screen) should be about 150ft. lower than the riverfront park. I haven't tried the lower (street) bridge yet. I doubt those boats will stay that close to a dam. Again, so far so good. Thanks guys.

As many members here said, there are no (true) street tunnels. However there are tricks and techniques of using alternatives (FLUPs, bridges etc). Or use existing networks in a... "creative" manner, and pretend you have them. And it's quite realistic too, just imagine a narrow street going through a tunnel, it would be horrible (looking extremely dangerous). An interesting modding idea, and surely easy to implement would be to add a divider (railings) to the tunnel entrance prop, between the two lanes of road tunnels (a cosmetic-only mod of course).

Same case with elevated rail (and consequently GLR too). There are no El/GLR tunnels, as the player is supposed to use El-Rail and subways complementarily - they are even coloured the same in the transport map. But if you have a mountain side or hill, the subway will be looking like "climbing", which albeit still functional, looks awful. I have used stations that change the traffic to normal rail, so a rail tunnel can be made, and work as (normal) stations for the rail and GLR lines.
