Smooth (Maxis) Avenue Curves? How do I get them

I've seen quite a lot of pictures with smoothly curved avenues, such as this:

(original pic is from https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=5706.20 )

I know that road and street curves are done by putting a single road tile next to the planned-to-be curve, but apparently the same doesn't hold true for avenues.

These curves with the default Maxis avenues were quite common, but I couldn't find a puzzle piece that does that, let alone any draggable solution that I know.

I'm using NAM 32 version, and I'm sure draggable curves are enabled in this version. I have no trouble dragging curves with roads (with a bit of practice) and streets, and FARs can be dragged too. However NOTHING seems to work with those avenues.... help is needed!!

Something like the picture is what I want to achieve, preferrably by dragging/Non-puzzle-piece version. There's got to be a Maxis avenue curve somewhere......

Whilst these pieces exist, they are yet to be updated to dragable versions, you must use the original puzzle pieces. In the roads menu there should be two options, one for Wide Radius Curves and another for Fractionally Angled Networks, the avenue pieces are at the end of the tab menus, so use Shift + Tab to get to them quicker.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

    The Wide-Radius curves only had ones relating to NWM networks, none with default maxis. FAN menus had a curve but it only had a 18.4 degree / 26.6 degree one, none of which looks like the first one(apparently that's a 90 degree wide avenue curve.)

    While I could make a wide avenue curve by putting the pieces together, that curve has a 12-block radius which seems to go a bit too far! The first one(which I really want to have) seems to get about 6~7 tiles radius wise..... plus they're smoother. Any puzzle pieces for that one?

    The ones in the picture are the 90-Degree Avenue WRC and the 45-Degree Avenue WRC (non-Flex). Are you sure you've found the correct menu item, the NWM WRC's are at the bottom of the Roads menu, whilst these should be at the top? If the menu item isn't there, you need to run the NAM installer again and make sure you select the option for puzzle-piece WRC's to be installed, perhaps you didn't install them previously?

    I only pointed out the FAN ones because it might be useful to know of their existence, they can be handy in certain situations.

    <technical note>

    Because of the granularity of the grid, this can only be accomplished through the good offices of the NAM.  At the moment, it is by the use of puzzle piece fillers.

    If the grid granularity were made any finer, some serious problems holding even a small city tile in memory might well result.  A great deal of virtual memory paging would be needed, which means the swapping device would have to be an SSD.  I don't think this technology was available at the time this program was written.

    Virtual memory has been around for a very long time (1950s at least) but microsystems have only been with us since 1980.  I seem to remember that paging was only available with the development of the x86 architecture.  My present machine and O/S uses segmentation as well as pagination and once in a long while I get a segmentation fault (missing segment) that causes the application that's running to be scrubbed.  This is not a difficult concept, but for some reason many programmers treat it as their Waterloo.  Generally, it can be left to the operating system, and not worry about it unless you are writing a memory driver.
