The geopolitical changes of regions and the intensification of the exchanges between the emerging countries have radically changed the map of the world commercial roads, and place At'ysland at the heart of this gigantic crossroads. Its strategic location is going to contribute to an unprecedented development.

Episode 5: Kagoshima - The entrance of At'ysland

Located on the southern tip of At’ysland, KAGOSHIMA links the Island to the mainland. It’s the gate of At’ysland. Kagoshima is blessed with exceptional scenery, of beautiful oceans, hills, and is home to many parks and diverse, rich nature. Growing around Kagoshima are the world's largest variety of radish, the Kagoshima daikon Radish, and the world's smallest variety of orange, the Kagoshima komikan Mandarin Orange. From the mountaintop visitors may overlook the town and will have a view of Kagoshima Bay and quiet waves.

Highway 01was designed to answer to the development of the region. It has a capacity surpassing an average of 300.000 vehicules per dayin some sections.

    Episode 6: The Freeway

Route 01 is a major artery in At’ysland  that runs in a generally north-south direction. The expressway begins at Kagoshima Bridge, south of At’ysland, and ends at the Angels bay near the Kansai Airport.

The cost was approximately $110 million Cimsflouz. The end of the construction is planned to year 2018.

    2IqYYJN.jpg

It features a double-decked elevated section of the road system of the island. It’s the bigger traffic corridors through At’ysland, planned for carrying up to 300,000 vehicles per day

The elevated section is supported by steel-reinforced concrete columns. The roadway itself was constructed on top of concrete slabs supported by steel girders.

    CTbr0P2.jpg

    The Route 01 is a high-technology highway

The height of the elevated section is higher than required to cross city streets and provide clearance underneath. The intent of this was to reduce traffic noise at ground level.

Interactive lighting is controlled by sensors: it only turns on when traffic approaches. It is a sustainable and cost-saving alternative to continuous lighting. Interactive lighting can also provide speed guidance.

Glow-in-the-dark lining absorbs energy during the day and glows in the dark. The lining emits light for as long as ten hours. A safe and sustainable alternative to conventional lighting for dark roads.

Road deck markings can be flexibly adjusted, to show a continuous line or a dotted line. Dynamic traffic control, adjustable depending on the situation. Dynamic Lines contribute to capacity management.

Episode 8 - The Old harbour

The city was founded during the 10th century and became an important harbour in the 12th century.

    Wxwd0j0.jpg

Traditionally with an independent streak Old Harbour was in the past notorious for piracy. Today the city is a major tourist destination, with many ancient, attractive buildings.

The city has one of the highest concentration of restaurants of the region. It is famous for its oysters.

    9I3mAnU.jpg

It has beautifully maintained its past architecture, making it one of the most historically rich cities on the region. This helped develop a strong tourism industry.

The main feature is the Harbour, which is at the heart of the city, picturesque and lined with seafood restaurants. The city walls are open to an evening promenade. The old town has been well preserved.

Episode 9: The islands of the bay

Harima is put on two islands, Shodo Island and Awaji Island, the biggest. The city offers a magnificent view on the bay.

In recent decades, the biotechnology sector is growing in Harima, based upon its strength in academic scientific research and public and commercial financial support.

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority implements mass transportation for the At’ysland metropolitan area including all the suburban with rail and subway.

Harima has historically been a center for fishing and seafood. This legacy continues with the blue oyster, a now ubiquitous variety that was originally harvested on the norht of the Bay.

The historic center of Harima is the northeast quadrant of the city anchored by Market Street and the waterfront. It’s here that the principal shopping and hotel district.

Cities SKylines After Godzilla - The Movie

"Not EA Pictures" present "Cities Skylines After Godzilla - The Movie" the epic story of a big lizard in a small city (but bigger than on Simcity). Too small for his butt. The awesome movie with buildings and trees… some cars... love and loading… and a f**king big lizard.

Realised by Christopher Nolan. In 1080p! With no budget and 9 guys/awsome girls in a garage.

    In theaters soon in At'ysland

OK, you held my attention for 18:07.  Here I'm the guy wandering around video-based CJs and encouraging folks to post some great images from each clip.  I wouldn't, if I was in your shoes, know where to start.  Your "Japanese Garden" video was so well edited and moved along with such a purpose that it really does stand on its own.  It doesn't hurt that you are a superdetailer after my own heart.

Five stars.  Followed.  All that stuff.  Wow!

    David

Why. Why have I not followed this CJ before. Subscribed. The last youtube video had me in tears. It's so beautiful. So very beautiful.

Oh and @Atys' , There IS a mod that removes that yellow tint saturation in the daytime. It's NOT a LUT either, it's an actual mod.

My head would actually explode trying to come up with and design some of the road set ups you have!

I notice you play with infinite money? I've never tried that - but I presume that allows you to really create a sculpt 'the city of your dreams' rather than trying to 'play the game and stay afloat'?

unlimited money isn't essential if you want to do an  aesthetic city. I used it mainly to begin fast with infrastructure (highway) and to have no unpleasant surprise. For exemple, one month ago, my university has burned and I didn't notice it. I losed lot of money and citizens. With normal game, this will be very hard to me to refund my city without demolish some part of it.

If you want watched a aesthetic city with money management, I advice you Konrad: https://www.youtube.com/user/KonradFilipKorzen ;)

Thank you - I've actually seen Konrad before he does some great things. I'm trying to start building something good myself - but I'm pretty new to the game - Hopefully I'll get as good as you at road designing!

Also - any assets you can recommend? I randomly downloaded a Shrine of Talos from Skyrim as a unique building haha.

Here is a link to my thread on it if you're interested - keep up the good work.
