Someone actually did it! I thought I'd share these awesome news with you, as many people wished for trams, including myself. I haven't tested it and currently I don't have the time to do so. The author states that there's still a lot to add (beta release). No idea if it's usable for gameplay at this time.

I saw this Tram mod earlier today and I am so excited to test this out! I'm sure it wont be perfect but as Cool_Z stated, it looks very promising!

I'm very interested to see how it works. Haven't really read up on it yet, but if it can produce as good of an effect as the NAM GLRs, then I'll risk the fact that it's in early beta.

I saw it and felt like it was "hacky" too as schimidtbochum stated. I don't like to have to go through extreme measures to make something work. I'll see though as progress continues and will probably try it out to see how it feels once more work has been done.
