I really like this CJ and how it is being handled!!  The only thing I don't like about it is the same use of one skyscraper over and over.  Did you grow those or plop them?  Cause what I do if Im growing a building I try to contro how many of that building I have in the city.  By bulldozing it.  But thats just my opinion.  You can continue your already fabulous work anyways!!16.gif

mrbisonm: Yes it's kind of an intro to a new aspect of the story. I'm making this story based on The Hicthickers Guide to the Galaxy books by Douglas Adams wich feature space travel and a very mixed sence of time with absurd humour. And it's my pleasure to speak nice of NoG, after all it's what made me start all this. Maybe you could actualy answer some comments on the pictures because some are actualy giving me cerdits for them...

jacqulina: Thanks! Support is always appreciated.

wynney: Thanks and welcome to my world!

Skyscrapers? You might be talking about the first picture from Genesus. It's by wouanagaine, maybe he can answer that. Apart from that thanks for the compliment and I hope to see you again.

I'm very glad to be here 4.gif

Really excellent works, and I hope to see other great CJs here, wonderful works. I really appreciate it.

And congrate for rebuilding your lost city !

About Skyscrappers, if they are on my pics, yes they are grown, and yes I bulldozed them, but get unlucky to see the same building regrown 5 times, so I decided to let them.

And yes I'm obsessed by roundabout 4.gif

Can't wait for next update !

Sim shady: Thanks! I hope you enjoy whats comming.

Wouanagaine: I hope it is the start to many collaborations. I'm listenning for offers... I worked on the city today, it's better than I could expect. The roundabouts are a very light and pleasant obsession!

Fabiocb: Thanks! I'm open for offers of any kind...

kant01: Thanks a lot! I hap to think a long time before I started this CJ to figure out how to make unique... My conclusion was to make it as unpredictable as possible.

All: Most of the rebuilding of the lost city is done. What's left is the agricultural part and reploping the trees. This will be a totaly new city with remembrance of the old one. Expect an update early next week.

I like the concept. It's like a whole new light on CJs. Will Chapter 10 be about unions?

Tracker: Thanks! Probably not in the next update but maybe in 3 updates. For the next 2 updates I'll be talking about Newenham and Wayne.

Everyone: Here's a sneak peak at the next update that I will post in the next 2 days.

Mikeaut1: Thanks! I'm gald you came by. The marrast set does wonders for thos scenery. This version is better to my taste than the original bridge before the city file was whipped out.

Fischbob: Thanks again for your support. Hopefully I'll be able to update once evry two weeks now that the main city is rebuilt. For the next one... wait no further than tomorrow.

Everyone: Here's another teaser for the next update.

    Chapter 10,
    In a split second

On a sunny august afternoon, a girl was sitting at a seaside café. She had been there many times but once something weird happened. Once she had the impression to be momentarily erased. Today seems just like that day a few years ago. The major difference is that she spent the last two years trying to retrieve the thought she had at that very moment when thought she was erased and restored. She almost had it; she almost knew how to solve the eternal commute problem but… at that very moment something happened again. This time she was fully conscious of what was happening. She sensed the whole world around her vanish completely. What was left was complete obscure void. In a split of a second another world like the first reappeared back. There she was sitting at the same café. She immediately noticed that a few things were not at the same place. She thought the café was actually smaller.

When she walked back to her home she noticed residential towers on her right. She didn’t remember seeing them before. Everything seemed both different and familiar. But this is still not her story so we will not see what’s next.

Wayne was very anxious on the way to Centre Port. Not because he never went there, it went there many times before. It’s because tonight he will be sleeping in is own locked room which belongs to him and that he pays for. He is leaving home tonight. His first surprise upon arriving in West Port (Centre Port’s twin) was how fast it has grown. A whole new industrial area was built since his last visit 4 months ago.

    industryzy1.jpg

They even went through a whole new neighbourhood just north of Centre Port that he never knew of. It seemed a little weird to him but nothing actually surprises him anymore in this small world.

The whole trip was fast and pleasant until they hit traffic congestion just before the crossing of the Port River. Again, Wayne didn’t recall any traffic of that kind in Newenham.

Finally they crossed to Centre Port and arrived at the residence hall just in front of the Newenham College. It was a bleak brown block in between the college and the private school. Wayne’s parents helped him unpack is things and then leaved. There he was… his own place. Finally out of the small village. There were a lot of new people to meet.

sorchin: Thanks! For the placement, well they are self leveling so it helps but they are so close to water level that it can also be a pain to plop.

chocolatemax285: Thanks! It's the 2nd time I have to build this waterfront so I hope it's has good as it used to.

Wow! You've really exposed the truth about cyber-existence in this city journal! Dissapearing for moments at a time...seeing something that wasn't there.

almost as if it was...Sim City...hmm...

Question! This is an absolutely beautiful shot! Where did you get the slim, pink and white building that appears 3 times in this screenshot? I'd love to know the author and creator!

    riversideradiopk8.jpg

Thank you! And great job for making a story that's interesting enough for me to eagerly follow!
