eggie99: Thanks a lot! Actualy they are transitions I made starting from the peg waterfalls. I never uploaded them because someone else has done similar transitions. The only difference is that mine is 3 tiles like the original while the one on the stex goes straight to the water on the 2nd tile.

All: I will upload the next chapter in about an hour. It's a big one so stay tuned! I also found the name of the 1x1 pink building: It's named the Carbon Building and is batted by Ytimic. Of course the station is a BSC bat by Deadwoods.

Chapter XI 
Nightlife

Wandering down College Street Wayne is getting familiar with is new environment. He only arrived yesterday when his parents dropped him. He has the whole day for himself since his first class his only the next morning, Monday. The feel of total freedom is already very exiting. A few blocks down he comes across the central market. Smell of fresh fruits and vegetables fills his nostrils has he walks through the animated crowd.

 

 

Wayne then heads west on Main Street passing the city hall. At the riverside he takes the ferry to reach West Port. He wanders a few hours there shopping a little in the many stores of the city. When the stores closed Wayne went back to the residence hall.

 

 

Just after dinner his front room neighbour came to his room. The guy then turned back to look at him.

 

-         ‘’Hi Wayne!’’ said the neighbour.

-         ‘’Do I know you?’’ replied Wayne.

-         ‘’Of course I’m Garry.’’

-         ‘’You can’t be!’’

 

 

This was confusing to Wayne. He remembered his former neighbour back in Enosburg Falls but that Garry was 30 years old not 18. Wayne looked at him very closely.

 

-         ‘’What? This is really you! But why do you look so young? The last time I saw you you were much older.’’

-         ‘’That I can explain. Do you still have your guide?’’

-         ‘’Yes.’’

-         ‘’Give it to me, I’ll show you something.’’

 

Garry opened to a page of a world we have already seen a few chapters ago.

 

-         ‘’You see this world. It’s called Genesis. In this world there is someone called Allan Sapporo. This man is in fact Joel, your creator, which asked Mr.Bisonm to become part of his world. In my case, I asked to be a part of Newenham. I’m a simtropolian just like many others. I think you have read one of my articles I wrote for the Simtropolian News.’’

 

 

-         ‘’There is actually a ton of people that entered that world. Another one asked to be an explorer and was featured is the discovery of a retired wild area.’’

 

 

-         ‘’Since things are not moving very fast in Enosburg Falls I asked my character to be changed a bit so things could get better for both me and you.’’ Continued Garry.

-         ‘’Well that explains everything. Anyone else would think your crazy but I’ve seen worst. So what do we do next?’’ asked Wayne.

-         ‘’Do you like jazz?’’

-         ‘’Sure!’’

-         ‘’Then there is a small pub at the end of West Port that has jam sessions every Sunday night. It all starts at 10 Pm. I know someone here that could drive us there.’’

 

They both came down to the first floor to knock on the door of the great guy who has a car. He’s great mostly because he has a car, other than that there is no interest. Wayne presented him to Wayne which instantly forgot his name. They all got to the famous car. Actually it was almost falling apart but a lift is a lift. Twenty minutes later they sat in the pub and all ordered a pint of red ale.

 

 

Wayne was still a few months shy of being 18 and legal drinker but no one noticed or asked for age proof. This place is very quiet and the police never come here.

 

Wayne drank more than a couple of pints that night, ‘savouring’ his new freedom. The beat carried him until he had more than enough beer at 2AM. Since Garry was still far from over Wayne decide to walk back alone. The problem is that the ferry is closed at this hour so he would have to walk across the harbour. He slowly wandered back on Newenham road.

 

 

He came across a roundabout. Luckily for him it was empty because he went straight across it not looking at any possible traffic.

 

 

Then the West Port plaza opened to him. The lights of the West Port Center made great effect on him has they seemed to dance in his eyes.

 

 

Wayne then headed to the harbour and exit West Port.

 

 

Back in Center Port, Wayne passed by the market. The contrast between then and the afternoon was obvious.

 

 

Just a few blocks north, Wayne stopped at a 24/7 store to get something to eat and painfully resumed walking.

 

 

Finally at 4AM Wayne collapsed on his bed, exhausted but almost sober. He fell asleep instantly and didn’t hear Garry coming back right then…

Well, I finally rediscovered your CJ. I just went through the last couple of pages, and I have to say that you have some great pics and a great storyline. That's interesting about the "What is the Guide?" thing, and it's a very good idea in what you tend to do with it. As for the pics, the last pic on the above update is my favorite, and you have put some amazing detail into your city. I look forward to more!

I didn't have time to think of the the story for the next update but I decided to take a few pictures and just show them for the occasion. I didn't show much of the harbour in the last chapter because it's basicaly a rbuild of the previous one. The next update might need some more building to follow the story.

That's an awesome harbor area! With that water mod and the fact that it's real game water, it looks really good. Keep it up!

sorchin : Thanks! It sure took long but the rebuilding was way easier. The hardest thing is that when you have to use a lot of those lots the self leveling of the lot becomes a pain because it's so low that you cant see the grid. The level often goes just below the sea on one corner, then ploping becomes very painful.

cityhawk: Thanks! On the basic map there was a very tiny strip of land wich seemed awkward. I needed to do something with, I looked down to the tool box and that's what I came up with. Of course the 2nd harbour is much better... there is a full year of city building them and then I had a much better idea of what to do.

All: This in a call for anyone who has is own CJ (all types). The SGTVW is open for to feature and/or cross story with other CJs. To have a better idea read chapters 9 and 11. Anything is possible! Just send me your suggestion by PM. I eagerly await to hear from you. Let's take multi-CJ collaboration to another level!
