Wow, what a great and wonderful cj! There are many impressive things in here, but I especially like the last aerial shot, in which you have a particular way to wind your roads, so that they seem curve slightly from a distance, which REALLY adds to the realism! Great idea! Btw, a Happy New Year!39.gif

Wow~!!

Really awesome stuff right here!I love the region view and the use of rail and highways is grand with the excellent use of the NAM.The whole last set of updates has looked quite realistic and very cool.I like all the Bats and the farmland which appears very natural and the airport.Again the airport is skillfully done.

Keep up the great work!44.gif

Great CJ! Very detailled! I liked how you presented the two options for the highway, and its construction.

Keep it up 44.gif

Ps: you have a very beautiful landscape!

This time, we're going to be travelling along the Lucifer Bay line from the Airport. So buckle in, sit down, shut up and most importantly, hold on!

    NewenhamRailwayImg.jpg
The rail map. The line is green. 3.gif Well. There's an error on the map... where Archerton is marked should be Mordialloc, and Archerton should be on the blue line directly north of that station. This should give you a means of orienting yourself.

Stations are few and far in between, but they do service towns. The gaps are mainly due to farmland.

    NewenhamUDI601.jpg
The train is leaving Newenham Intl Airport. Currently, it is only single-track access, mainly due to the lack of such need, and it's mainly intended for those who are heading to say, Montcrieff.

    NewenhamUDI602.jpg
Leaving the station, the train begins to speed up and enters the township of Archerton.

    Newenham0602.jpg
    Some quick info.

    NewenhamUDI603.jpg
The train has reached its top speed of approximately 80 km/h. The ride is smooth, nonetheless. It is seen here crossing the Archerton River, via causeway.

    NewenhamUDI604.jpg
A photograph taken of the train speeding through vineyards and various farms.

    NewenhamUDI605.jpg
    Approaching Mordialloc Station...

    Newenham0601.jpg
Some info about the village of Mordialloc.

NEXT: The Ruins... and onto Queenscliff!

Editor Notes: Couple things wrong with this update, mainly tiny graphical errors and incosistency with the train. 3.gif

Oreon: Thanks. And a belated Happy New Year to you, too
Cjah: Thanks! And thanks for the welcome too.
    newy: Thanks!
Mr. Beer: Thanks, especially coming from the creator of Baton Rouge. 3.gif
    jacqulina: Thanks!

Well. So much for Queenscliff. Here's an update to tide you over. It's the town of Grantham, and was done before I changed over to that realistic building style. It wouldn't've worked here, anyway. (too narrow a space to work in... it being a medium tile. 3.gif)
I won't say much... look at the pics.

Sorry I didn't say so much, but the pictures explain it all.

The descriptions of the farms cracked me up, especially the one that was too gaudy. 18.gif Nice little town and I like the national park too. 48.gif

Those Info-Cards are a really nice touch!
And I think I'll introduce that maximum manure regulation in my next rural town! 18.gif

Always good to read the little details in your CJ's SA!

    Take care!

Wow, a fantastic CJ, too bad i never saw it before! The farms look very nice, and realistic, except for the borders, but that will change!
I really like the building showcases, and the fact that you use Publisher for the newspapers too!44.gif

Wow this is a really great CJ! I love your transportation system and all those maps and graphics. You should get a no-palms mod because I've spotted a few on some pictures, like on pic 3.07 and they look out of place a little. But I guess considering the rice farm, some palm trees are ok hehe!

Oh and that newspaper was hilarious! My melons. They've burst! 18.gif

    I'm looking forward for more!

mayormommy: Thanks! Some of the farms are just too... gaudy, so yeah. 3.gif
    Scipio: Thanks!
Darmok: Thanks! You don't want to know what they do with the manure. They package it, and leave it on people's doorsteps and set fire to it... and ring the doorbell. 11.gif
    getdown11: Thanks!
Exhagaga: Thanks! *gasp* You knew? 3.gif
slann: It is. (this is running at the same time as Savannah City, btw) Thanks!
oreon: Thanks! And yes, you should! 11.gif
Dr. Neitchskrimfrauwnmoya: Thanks. Your name is a little on the long side, LOL. 3.gif Yeah, I use the No Palm Tree mod, but they still do pop up from time to time for some odd reason. 45.gif
    Nexis: Thanks!

    That's update 7, ladies and gentlemen. That's Update 7.

Excellent update, SA! I love how we've been able to see the development of the city of Cape Newenham from the beginning right up til now and the city seems like one of the best planned I have ever seen. Great job!

Great update, SA. Excellent pictures of Cape Newenham. I like how you've sorted out the center. And the waterfront looks great. The sports complex and cycle paths are nice details. I'd take that house, if I was looking for one...

    Take care.

    Hey Shadow Assassin,

I hope this hasn't been asked already ( because i realise how anoying it must be to get the same questions over and over again) but i don't think i've seen it.

The actual question: where can i find these (i don't know how you call them) things, that you have over the railways? (there are a few models, over  a simple or double railway line).

    Hope you can help.

    Thx in advance 2.gif

Info cards are indeed great. Nice train journey.
I will keep this response short as I am pressed for time.

    Awaiting more input16.gif
