Hi everyone! I wanted to know what the climate is like in different parts of the country & the world. Could you say what the climate is like where you live and if you feel like it, say where you live.

Also say whether you like the climate or not3.gif

I come from Singapore and here, it's hot, humid, rainy and sunny. A mix of weather which is normal in tropical countries. I do like the weather because it's warm and you do not need to bundle up in december because it only rains and rains. But sometimes, I hate the weather becuse it can get very hot, 33 degrees celcius at times and the humidity. Whoo! It a killer especially in the afternoon when it's super hot, just take a short walk out of any shelter and you'll be sweating in a few minutes. I would like to ask those people who live in temperate countries. How's the weather there? I heard it's cool and winter is great! I would sure love to experience winter; I heard it's lots of fun.

Here, in central Wyoming, it is dry and very windy.  In the winter, it snows, in the summer we have droughts(we are in a 6-8 year drought).  Luckily, since we are so dry, it isn't as hot or cold.as it would be with the 100% humidity I was used to when I lived in Minnesota.  We hardly ever have any big storms.  A storm will come in, conditions will get very bad, very quickly, and in 15 minutes, its over.

We only need enjoy one day at a time.

Our climate is very moderate. I live not far away from the open sea in Northern Germany, so we usually didn't get any extreme temperature variations.
I have a weather station myself and have a few years of data, so i could tell you something about the climate here.
On avarage we have an annual temperature of 9

Where I live, temperature can vary from 39 to -39 celsius including humidity and wind chill. Dudy, I don't think you have seen cold.

Well I HATE the place where i live unfortunately. I live in Amsterdam. A very average climate , few storms in a year . Some floods in the summer14.gif

Not cold in winter, never snow or something and not very hot in the summer, maybe one day and after one day hot some heavy thunderstorms. Yep thats the Netherlands, a very SISSY climate if ya ask me.

I love the climate in LA , always great weather

The weather is starting to get cold where I live.

“The American city should be a collection of communities where every member has a right to belong. It should be a place where every man feels safe on his streets and in the house of his friends. It should be a place where each individual's dignity and self-respect is strengthened by the respect and affection of his neighbors. It should be a place where each of us can find the satisfaction and warmth which comes from being a member of the community of man. This is what man sought at the dawn of civilization. It is what we seek today.”

Here in Central North Carolina our weather has been pertty good and our usually hurricane season was brused off and flordia had the brunt of it. But this pass winter our weather was EVIL. We had ice storms back to back and it snowed all the time. The good thing was that we were hardly never in school but we had 2 stay in school till late may where we usally get out in the middle of may.

Yeah, US Liberia and some other third world country. The US is the only one which has any reason to measure things alot. It's good to know imperial for certain measurements, but the fahrenheit temperature scale jsut doesn't workd here. Maybe in the tropics, but not in Canada.

Very cool when I'm not walking home from school.

This summer in Hawaii, we have reached (I live a few miles from Honolulu, not saying my town) about 91 degress farenheight and boy is it hot walking in that temperatures. We have the occasional leeward and mauka showers, and it's downright beautiful.

The weather in denver has been rather random lately. It seems to be very cold one day and then very pleasant and warm the next (like wednesday and thursday of this week).
