No, it wasn't bad in my part of town... I don't think Ottawa as a whole got it that bad. Apparently further up the Ottawa valley was hit hard, and even up to North Bay.

But as for today, same as yesterday (see above!). I'm going to mow the lawn tonight when I'm done here.

We had a pretty bad storm roll through here last night. In fact, before it came to my house, I video taped it from a pretty far, away distance. It had to have been the darkest cloud I have ever seen in my life. Although, it was at night, so that could have been the main reason it was so dark. 3.gif

I live in upstate New York, and boy do we get winters!! Our climates are pretty much fairly hot summer and very very harsh winters. There is snow on the ground from December to early April. I like winter but I only want a 2 month winter!!!!!! We get lot's of rain, and everyone knows of the recent flash flood!! Luckily, my house was fine. But a block away was completley flooded.

Well, that's freezing cold 4.gif.

We have 32°C right now... and I'm sitting in the shadow. The heat record was something around 36 in Switzerland this week.

We got your rain here in Saint Louis.  We've had two massive thunderstorms in three days. Today the rain blew sideways.  When we get the camera developed, I'll try to get the pictures of the tree damage posted.  My current estimate is that there was about two tons of fallen tree branches in our back yard.

It was very nice in Ottawa today... cloudy but pleasant temperature... the kind where your windows are open and the A/C is off. Too bad I had to work all day. 3.gif

Its been way hot in Seattle for the past couple of days, like 100 degrees, very ridiculous!! Plus the Air Conditioning blew up/got fried in my office today (along with 3 PCs, all the overhead lighting and most of the electricity sockets and dental chair controls), so yay for hot weather!!

IRELAND:

SUN- 23C/10C (Cloudy w/ sunny intervals)

MON- 24C/13C (Cloudy w/ light rain)

TUE- 22C/11C (Sunny)

WED- 28C/6C (Sunny)

THU- 30C/11C (Sunny)

For those of you who use Farenheit:

6C = 42F

30C = 86F

(Work out the rest for yourself!)3.gif

Temperatures are expected to exceed 30C for the third time this year! (They did it on the 18th and 19th of July). Seems the European Heatwave hasn't lost all of it's influence here (Thankfully)! At least we got some thunderstorms and rain over the weekend, to clear the air as the humidity is a lot lower.1.gif

Wetaskiwin has been nearing 40C(103F) all weekend and only god himself can stop it.
And it is turning everyone very irritable. An the bugs are making it even worse.
It is like the Apocalypse here.
The other night i saw 5 people beat someone badly over a bottle of water.
If it doesn't cool down we might have a bad riot in wetaskiwin.
