I've visited the Edgar Allen Poe House and Museum in Baltimore so I should've known. Poe had a strong connection to Baltimore, particularly since he lived there briefly, was married there, and also died in Baltimore. That's the Nevermore! part. Well, the Ravens football team may contribute to that, as well.

The O! obviously refers to the local baseball club.
