I've just noticed that I've been "baptized!"

Wow!

And what a good choice, I'm REALLY touched and pleased by that choice!

And I must congratulate Jacky, Mamormommy, Blonde Twiggy, Krio and MadTV Freak for theirs....

Congrats guys!

Thanks for the one/ones responsible for choosing the label, couldn't be better!

-John

Okay, don't ever make the comparison of getting a label to getting baptized. Ever. Again.45.gif

Custom labels on a website have nothing to do with religious sacraments. And hopefully we can keep it that way.46.gif

Well, we had a nice little push there of new labels... only one new name on the list, though (krio), as the others all previously had other labels.

Oh, and now the last of the ST Yearbook labels is gone, with the demise of mayormommy's "Grammarian".

No, Duke, there are other names. BlondeTwiggy didn't have a CML and now she has one. quote>

To Duke87

Let get one thing straight Duke87, as you perhaps have failed to noticed, the word baptized was between parenthesis, meaning an humorous content, I'm no religious zealot, and I sure hope that you're not.

I obviously know that getting a custom label is not a religious sacrament, and being already baptized I don't need a second one.

I don't know what's going on here, but as of lately it seems that a lot of persons have an "holier-than-thou" and bossy attitude and I find it sad.

This being said, I'll explain something  else to you, as far as I know this is a free country, and we all have freedom of speech, I don't think I've offended anyone by that small touch of humor, and I'm telling you this :

Don't EVER tell me what to say or not to say. If you don't like what I'm writing, either don't read it, or may I suggest that you send a PM explaining your point of view, which by the way you are entitled to, and this way resolve any conflict in a mature way instead of making patronizing remarks, they are demeaning and never are appreciated.

I'm sorry for this outburst, those who know me here, know that I'm quite level headed, but some things I just cannot let pass, and censure I'll NEVER accept.

Now this being said, I apologize if I've offended anyone by my comment with the word "baptized", and I sure hope it's not the case.

To all,

I sure am proud of that label, and I must say that "Temba his arms wide", describe me pretty well, for those who don't know Star Trek it means "To communicate - I'm listening", but in this particular case it was more like "The river Temarc, in winter", meaning "misunderstanding".

Sorry about the long post but I felt I had to set the record straight.

Darmok

Wow. I just noticed my new custom label. Heh, that's strangely appropiate. 3.gif Funny, it wasn't there this morning...

Congratulations to the other recipients. They indeed deserve it. I actually quite liked Krio's one, it's quite clever. Now, Darmok's one... I don't really get it, but it seems that it's been explained anyway.

Don't worry. I don't know much about Star Trek, and the only Star Trek movie I've ever watched is First Contact.

Yes, I know you're laughing at me. 3.gif

John, then should we take the Trixie labels out of the CML list? 3.gif

Congrats Shadow_Assassin! I noticed it in a thread in the AU&P forum and was about to post it here. 9.gif

Congrats, everyone on your new CMLs!  I was falling over laughing about Krio's.  It's very fitting.2.gif  Ditto with SA's.

And Darmok, I agree with you 100%.  And I do in fact watch Trek.  In fact, I believe I remember that episode, where your screenname and your new CML come from, when Picard got stuck on that planet with those dudes--I can't remember what they were called right know.  I've mainly watched TNG and DS9, and a few episodes of the Original, Voyager and Enterprise (the latter I watched mainly because of the cute Vulcan girl.  She's so . . . logical.36.gif)
