Hi everybody.

i can't find solutions on any forums so i decide to write my own post.

Since three days i decided to re-lot some maxis rci lots, because i want they looks well with my others custom lots and several awesome BATs from other players. So first I made sure custom lots would replace maxis lots and it works but some props continue to randomly come and go on lots. I seem to have read something like these props affect a number of things, but which exactly ?
I simply want to put new textures and a few of better props, so overwrite any existing props in these lots except cars, without changing any lot proprieties.
Thanks for your time, my translation seems pretty bad.  :ninja:

Hi there

So are the props visible in the Lot Editor, but not in the game? If so they could be timed props. These are special props that only appear at certain hours of a "Sim day". In a way, they operate like an on/off switch, usually between working hours to simulate more activity during the day. To view the time, hover over the date displayed at the bottom right panel of the UI. It can then be changed to any hour using the whattimeizit <24 hour time> command.

E.g.

whattimeizit 15 = 3pm

Or are you having a problem with saving props / textures on the lots?

Ok I just realized these props are listed in the "Family props" case but i must still get if it's possible to create that kind of family with downloaded props and how ? How to see all the props contained in a same family in the Lot Editor ? also for know the space needed on the lot.

edit : Do you know if "family props" contains just "timed props" or if the props in these can also have others simulation conditions ?...

edit : I just realized these can appear during others specifics simulation conditions or increase/reduce demand. but how know in more details all of these parameters and their values ? I need know that but also how to apply simulation conditions in non-maxis props. I hope someone will can help me.
