What's going on here?

So I was playing Simcity and I noticed there were a few abandoned buildings I had to demolish. This is the description of one of them. Is there anything wrong with my game? As you can obviously see, there are several parks and several shops surrounding the abandoned house. I'm new to the website, so please tell me if I did anything wrong in making this topic. Thanks

It's probably not matched to their wealth level.  Low wealth sims shop at low wealth shops and hang out in low wealth parks, same for the other wealth levels.

The abandoned house was §§Resiential, and so were the parks and shops. This happened like 5 times to houses in the same area.

Maybe shops don't get enough cargo to satisfy all residents in area? Don't know why they complain about parks, but I've seen this on my own games too. I guess its routing problem of some sort.

I like the way you laid the park, that is something my grid oriented gray matter couldn't come up with ^^;

Thanks!  It seems to be fine now, but I'll keep checking in. I used the Pedestrian Paths mod by Xoxide to create the park by the way.

all of them depending on which on in question must have the satisfaction of what that specific $ $$ $$$ structure or building needs

 

From Parks To Commercial to Indstury

 

so R$$$ would complain in this case about $ parks only being around just as R$ would complain at having $$ and $$$ parks around

 

Same applies to commercial requirements and many others

 

Sim are very unforgiving about very specific things

Thank you for the explanation, Xoxide! Amazing mod BTW. It certainly is odd how sims react to parks, buildings, etc. Especially since some of the low-wealth high density commercial buildings look like they could belong on 5th Avenue :/
