All I'm saying is that it'd be nice to have the same STR for el rail as for passenger/freight rail. Can it be done??????

Yes, it can physically be done, but it's not likely to be done anytime soon, with as many projects as are going on.  I think T_Wrecks summed it up pretty well in the similar Single-Track Tram Lines thread:

Ok. This single track tram thing is kinda big to me. I like to run my light rails in UDI. It's why I bought the game. I love transit, and I'll never be a transit operator. The GLR loops look unrealistic to me in my cities. I honestly wish the U-Turn worked; on my game it only works for rail. How do I contact someone directly that knows how to do the programming for a STR tram mod? I'll pay if it works!!!! I just really want this.

Asking the same thing twice becsue you were told no the first time isnt going to change the answer. Its stil going to be no.

As stated in the post above, there is no one willing to work on the mod becsue they are doing other projects. You could contact someone about this, but they are not going to accept.

I have had a brainwave. Why not create a ploppable bridge?

It isnt as stupid as it sounds.

You crate a transition piece (like a beach) that can be placed on the area where the land meets the sea.

Then you can have various pieces that only go on water. You could have intersections, curves, intricite designs.

Everything you have ever wanted in a plopable form. It shouldnt be too much harder to mod than el road or rail.

The biggest problem with making bridges completely ploppable are the height differences. Unless your sea floor is completely flat, your bridge goes up and down all the way, and it may go under water. It can be done with the current NAM overpass pieces. Try it, and you see what I mean...

It is in final testing at the moment by the RTMT testers. It Should be included in RTMT 3.6 or as a seprate download..

It should be done soon, as there are olny a few things left to do.

Multi-lane roads. Good. How about fully draggable GLR? We have starter pieces, how about to drag it like road and El-Train?

Tunnels that can be built on flat ground in all road types to bypass some districts.

There should be Fractional Angle Avenues and Fractional Angle RHWs. I would also like to see a wider RHW bridge. And also a street that has higher capacity than a normal street but less than a road and doesn't put stoplights at every intersection.

Can the NAM involve a feature to make the monorail double decker (with double capacity both in lines and at stations?

No. Here we have the same problem as with double-decker highways: the capacity is measured per tile, not per lane. For instance, the MIS has the same capacity as one side of the RHW-6S. This is the way how the game is set up, and we can't change that (at least not legally), because we need to hack to program in order to do so.

 I would want something like Road addon mod where there would be other textures for roads like the SAM. This will help me alot because i'm really tired of the maxis roads. Also, I'm not good at modding so i'm not sure, but if this is not possible, then could there be more SAM textures? Also, avenue textures would do me a favor

Technically this is a request. Not to be a rebel, but you guys working with the NAM have done so much for SimCity4, and what keeps you from doing a lot of things is the limited features of the game. I think Maxis would be happy to team up with you and all of the other veteran BATers, Modders, and Simtropolis members to develop a SimCity 5. Delete the post if you like, but I think it is perfectly reasonable.

Maybe you could make a deal that goes something like: anybody on Simtropolis who wants to works on the game for free, but when it's done all of the contributors get a free copy. Think about it: if there are 300,000 members, at least 10,000 must be good at some type of programming. That's a lot of help compared to the few hundred people Maxis had to work on SimCity 4.

Something to think about perhaps?

I want more airports, and maxis made 9 of then a S/M/L LS, a S/M/L MA and a S/M/L IA , can you make a mod that will allow me to build then s I please, instand of makeing lots of CO areas?

One problem with that. Maxis doesnt exist anymore. And EA has comptley abondend the sim city seires after SCS failed. 

The game players are the only ones keeping this game alive.

could you make tram GLR tiles pedestrian enabled, like the pedestrian only roads? it would be a really useful addition i think.

also are threre any ways to eradicate the crashing with GLR completely?

For urban areas, 6C is extremely authentic looking, but I've only ever been able to get it to go in a straight line. Are there more pieces planned for 6C? Also, I really like how the raised 4 looks side by side. Are there any plans for a 4C with a cement median?

As far as I know the only things that are planned for RHW-6C extensions are:

- A RHW-6S to RHW-6C transistion.

- A elevated RHW-6C (possibly not a feature in v4.0)

- RHW-8C

- A RHW-6C to RHW-8 transistion.

And I believe the RHW-4C isn't planned, because other features have more priority, like diagonal crossings.

Here are my requests for RHW:

1. Elevated pieces for RHW 2, 6, 8, and 10.

2. RHW 6, 8, and 10 elevated pieces.

3.  RHW 10 splitters:

With the diagonal pieces for RHW6S, I can only bend the highway, I can't turn it. Can more pieces be added?

I would like to see a draggable 1-track GLR feature. So it could work in a similar way to the MIS system with customiable ramps, which is part of RHW mod.

So for example there could be a transition piece for GLR running down the avenue median transitions to a split of tracks to either side of the avenue. Another useful use for single tracks is the ability to customise single-track loops instead of just the standard balloon loop.
