my bad forgot to say on last post that it is the turning lane textures i was wondering about. I look for the detail in things and that was bugging me so I made thoose lots up for each way i may need them.

So they are lots currently? How did you get the Turning Lanes to how up on the Lot, do you have a lot specifically for turning lanes?

I think the best would be to them puzzle pieces, which I can do, but probably not right now.

i believe he has just made four new Mtel lots, with different numbers of turning lanes respectively, very clever... i would hop over the sc4d and attach them to a post so the guys can check them over before release...

I would like to suggest a Ploppable Bridge Over Land and Water mod(PBOLW) so you can build diagonal bridges and curve them over water and land.

Suggested pieces:

2x1  strait piece

2x2 strait piece

2x8 strait piece

2x1  diagonal piece

2x2 diagonal piece

2x8 diagonal piece

45 degree curve

90 degree curve

Please try to make this, it would be an awesome feat if this is put in the 2010 NAM19.gif

EDIT: I hope no one suggested this,(I'm not looking through 58 pgs to see if somone already suggested this)otherwise I'd be very angry!26.gif Doh! I forgot these pieces! How could I?42.gif

It would be useful to have 2lanes+1lane road in one tile and 3lanes-one way road in one tile

Hello everyone.

I've started working with NAMs el-rail over road however I noticed there are some very useful puzzle pieces that are missing. The pieces are Elevated rail T over straight road and Elevated rail L over + road. Here's what they should look like in-game:

Hello there.. since a long time I don't request nothing ^^

I've being wondering, and as we know there are some mods to allow people to have sidewalks on the gentle curves for avenues and roads (specially made by Sithlord)

the issue is that those models (is what they are after all right?) don't fit places where we don't have development. a road with a large sidewalk and trees in a no man land? don't fit! By now you should be saing "then remove the mod! duh! Worried" but the issue is when you want both things on one city at the same time! in the middle of the city\town curves with sidewalks, in the wilds with no sidewalk..

so? what I sugest\request? two models, or better, the same model(for each piece) but twice. so one would be free to be targeted by mods (like Sithlord's) to have sidewalks while the other remain untouched.

Why don't you make some plopable interchange (highway-like) for avenues?

Hmm, I'm not sure about this one.  Best bet would be to contact him about it.

Actually, there are two of them already.  In your avenue puzzle pieces icon (same place as roundablots, you'll find an avenue diamond interchange and a a full Y-interchange.

the one way streets are something which are talked about for a long tme ^^

haljackey: the suggestion was not to sithlord, I don't know if he is capable of making a new puzzle ring for the new model, or insert the new model on the ring already in use.. is more to NAM team it self, to double the models with different IDs

I looked at some interchanges and I think that will be very useful a transit beetween a straight elevated road (or one-way or avenue...) piece and a diagonal, just like the elevated heavy rail.....

I'd like to suggest gentle curving elevated highway, avenue, and roads pieces. Also gentle curving oneway road pieces. Oh and gentle curving elevated rail pieces, monorail, etc... just curved pieces for elevated stuff would be awesome!

Put traffic signals on for the one way roads and also some of the highway interchanges. Traffic would flow a lot smoother. Also, on the NAM, the highway/avenue interchange does not allow cars to turn both direction when getting on and off the highway at the median .That should definitely be fixed. Other than that, I'm good =)

Traffic signals on the OWR are impossible, since how this network has been build up. As for highway interchanges, it wouldn't help. Cars will pass, even when there is a red light. But beside that, it would be a realistic detail

Which interchange do you exactly mean? As far as I know, there are several highway/avenue interchanges.

RHW interchanges can be made with the- what are they called? MRI-MIR, it starts with an M anyway, those ramps. You can make a cloverleaf style interchange, a partial Y, really, they're the interchange-makers for the RHW. If I could only remember what they're called- MENTAL BLOCK!

You mean MIS, Jumpthefence.  The MIS is created with the purpose to make custom interchanges, and not prefab interchanges (like Maxis Highways). MIS interchanges are very flexible. Prefab interchanges are not. Besides, it's a lot easier to make a few puzzle pieces, allowing the user to build the interchange that fits in the area, than a heck of a lot complete interchanges. So that's the reason that there are no complete, prefab interchanges in the RHW-mod
