Need Testers For Mod

Hey guys I need testers for this one mod I'm working on.

 

I am trying to make it so that the fire truck does not stop in traffic or at traffic lights when it is going to a fire.

 

Download the file below, unzip it, and then install it into your SimCityData folder. Let me know if it works or not. If it does not work, I would still like you to look at it in the SC game and see if you notice anything different.

dont place any academic building, citizens without academic coverage should have bigger chance to start fire

So far, they do stop at traffic lights. Tested with large fire trucks and small. The trucks would also get stuck in traffic if it could not go around on the same side of the road. No other mods used with this.

About time i started helping out

 

Tested at small firestation. Trucks stop at all traffic lights if red.

I also noticed something weird. When leaving the station the normal fire engine had responding to hazmat fire above it when going to a house. Not seen this before.

 

New city is building up now so I can test traffic.

Still stopping and waiting in the traffic jams here. All fire engines Ive spotted coming out the station seem to have hazmat status above them when you click on them. Not seen a hazmat fire yet to see if they actually put them out though.

Wonderful idea. Only, you should ask if testers have other mods installed when they test it. For instance, I found out that with Orion, a lot of different mods do not work. Mods that raise the module amount, but also the Sandbox cheats.

hmm here the module amount mods works just fine with orion just as every other mod i have installed atm

I have the strangest things happening since I'm using Orion. The module amount for the little police station works, but then when I plop something else, the extra modules disappear, leaving the ones on top floating.

 

When I start a new city in Sandbox, exit SimCity, and restart, some of the cheats do not work anymore, and everything is unavailable due to not having the right City Hall modules.

Ok Started a new City w/ Vanilla game ran for 1 year game time 50,000 pop. small station only I agree where's the fires when you need em .. Sent earthquakes as well LOL but Of course trucks wont pass when traffic has em but on a couple of times I did see them doin there best to get through also saw garb trucks pulling into left lane for them strange I thought cause they got no reason to be there since there picking up trash... twice however i saw second truck responding to a second fire and would pull out of station and pull back in garage and not respond and leave it up to the first one to respond Ok I think that covers it. No ill effect on my end

I use BOC, Orion, various skin mods, and various mods for buildings outside the city. But it's alright. Although Xoxide said that Orion will never work properly, I'm having lots of fun it. Also with BOC.

I will glad to test it for you I love the idea that the fire trucks don't stop till they get to the fire would be great if the ambulances and police cars did the same thing

Have you thought about it to let emergency vehicles control the traffic to and on an intersection in their favor?
