Pizza Hut    

In the northwest of Evean Vansop lies the midsize town of Somoron. Its extensive, leafy suburbs are not noteworthy destinations for a tourist but they are a great place to live and raise a family. Several office parks and retail developments provide steady, good paying employment. Many high paying jobs were created with a company making 4-D printers opened a factory at the industrial park. All seems well, but there is some dissatisfaction with the new Pizza Hut at the mall. It is staffed by an all feline crew. And, felines are more interested in being served by humans than serving them. Let's see if we can find out what's going on.
 

 

The disenchanted customers live here in the Orange Walk neighborhood, not far from Acorn Hill Mall
 

 

The mall looks a bit empty. The locals are boycotting it because they are not happy with the service they're receiving...

I'll show you the feline staff and you decide:

Apparently the customers think the service is too slow... they're all headed over to other restaurants. The residents haven't learned yet that cats are not around to serve others; they are there to be served and admired!

Hatta    

The pleasant coastal town of Hatta is a popular destination for Evean residents looking for a weekend getaway. The temperate climate and abundance of fun activities makes it a great town to visit. It features the Schulmania's Cat Head Industries' subsidiary, Lucky Cat Casinos, owns and operates the town's casino.

Another distinctive feature of the town is the Zigzag Canal. It's the ziggiest, zaggiest canal in the nation... perhaps, the world. Why it was built in such an impractical pattern defies comprehension. Perhaps the engineers just felt like doing something different? Regardless of the reason, it makes for a pleasant stroll to meander alongside it.
 

The Zigzag Canal passes by the round Jaakko Theater. Headliners tonight are Patsy Cline and Merle Haggard. Yep, you guess it: Hatta has more old time country names than Branson Missouri! The tower of St. Stephen's Church overlooks the scene.
 

The Lucky Cat Casino is at right, next to the hotel. Across the street is the Hatta Marketplace, where all sorts of good stuff can be bought.
 

Joshua Square is a great gathering spot adjacent to the canal
 

Hatta neighborhoods are full of tranquil courtyards and cozy cafes
 

Klingon Park is a great neighborhood spot for pickup bat'leth competitions. Qapla!
 

The Kwik-E-Mart has opened a new location in the rotunda. I think they're trying to get a more upscale clientele...

Wow, very beautiful city!  I like the brick plazas.  For a second I thought I was in the wrong city journal and I thought to myself, OH MY GOD THERE ARE CARS!  But it's Evean Vansop, so it's okay.  Right?

Driving Through Downtown
    
The national capital is Doyacabsa. It is the largest city with the most amenities. It also has extensive shopping and an exciting nightlife. If you have Night Fever (you like the night life, you like to boogie) come back after dark when the mimes go home and then the fun really starts!

There are also luxury apartment buildings at the J. J. J. J. Smith Country Club, only a few blocks from the government center
 

There's plenty of residential housing in the center of town. It makes for easy commutes and plenty of late night fun. Not the most creative on the designs, though...
 

A lovely reflecting pool right in the heart of downtown gives residents and workers a great gathering spot. The ducks love it. but, the pigeons think it is not all it is quacked up to be...
 

Office workers will rent a paddleboat to have a nice lunch hour. Come back after dark and they have demolition derby rules for the paddleboats. AWESOME!
 

 

There's fancier stuff over by the convention center. Plenty of hotels for when you wear yourself out shopping... or having fun!
 

When the Cavaliers are in town, go catch a game!


Basketball games are always fun. The arena has free hotdogs on Tuesday nights.
 

Keep your eyes on the road while you drive... not the cool office buildings!

Honeydew List
    

You know how it is: you get settled in for a marathon of SC4 and are all comfy and ready to play and then it happens... "Do this!", "Do that!", "Get off that couch!"... You just got a list of chores to complete... the dreaded "honeydew list"... as in "Honey, do this... honey, do that..." So, now we are heading out all over town to get stuff done. Grrrr!
