NAM v32 forces RHW MOD!

I don't want any of the RHW! How can I uninstall RHW from my SC4?

RHW is not = NAM.

Players should have option to ditch ALL RHW in a simple click during NAM installation.

Hi there,

The RHW is not a compulsory component of the NAM. In fact, it's entirely optional like many of the included features.

On installation, select the "custom" option. Here you can configure which features you'd like to install. The great thing is the installer can be re-run at any time to add / remove things. It's designed to be flexible, and recognises what parts of the NAM you already have installed, which can be unchecked. If you don't want something now, it could always be added back at a later stage.

For more information, I'd suggest to take a read through the included documentation, also available This is slightly outdated (does not refer to v32), but you'll get the gist of it.

P.S. Topic moved to "Transit Networks".

I know! NAM is <3 Been using it back in the day ;)

But still I can't get RHW off from my installer. Well maybe it's the time to look right back and see if I could disable RHW, I mean, I did disabled all other anything in rilation to RHW off, but still I'm not able to disable RHW in NAM install :/

In the custom installation mode, you'll need to expand the bit that says "NAM Networks and Network Expansions" by clicking the "+" next to it, and then this menu will expand out from there.

You'll actually need to click where it says "Real Highway Mod (RHW)" twice.  The first check will change it from the gray check to a standard green check, and the second will unselect it altogether.

Note however, if you're planning to use the Diagonal Bridge Enabler (DBE) at all, you'll need to have the RHW L0 RHW-2 option installed, as the Avenue and Highway bridges enabled by it actually require the base RHW tool (a very minimal addition that is miniscule compared to the full range of RHW options).

and to really get rid of RHW completely do not select 'Maxis Highway Override' since this uses RHW ramps.

Deselecting the RHW also deselects the Maxis Highway Override. Its not just because it uses the MIS, but also because it draws almost all of its textures from the RHW packages.
