Im signing, and im glad youve had a good reception from the community. I had a similar idea and it was trampled into the ground by pessimist. weather or not they listen is not the issue, we lose nothing by trying. I live close the the maxis office, if you can produce a paper copy, ill hand it to them in person. this is direct marketing in reverse, we are letting them know what is most important to us, and thus what will sell and what to do for simcity day.

A copy can easily be printed from the first message of this topic... but of course would not have the signatures count. The easiest way I belive is to to merely share the link tothis topic with them once/if it receives noteworthy response and support.

Making them aware of it will not be an issue, I believe. It just needs to represent a large enough group of players to compell them to respond... favorably we hope.

I have signed since there is nothing to lose by trying to get their attention and sorting out these issues would improve the game but, to be honest, I don't have much hope that Maxis will bother to do anything.

I have signed the Petition. I hope Maxis fixes some of these errors. I really hope Maxis gives us a program to make animations for SC4. I and dudy constructor have tried to make animations, but they dont work.

Even though, I've given up on this game and rarely play it, and doubt that Maxis will respond, anyway I hope they do, so they can simply bring the game back in action once again, because I think Simtropolis has truly done enough and its time for them to work their end of the bargain. Its not only these issues the game has, there are a lot more.

I signed, although No 2 ,I don't want, but No 1 is essential, since I have often problems with this.

I'd rather haver the complete watertool though, even if it is an expansion, you know, the one with lakes and rivers and creeks.

 

But unfortunately, we address a Giant that is out ONLY for money and not for our welfare and pleasure. I doubt that Maxis will or can do anything.

So, why are we signing a petition to Maxis for? We should be signing the petition to the source, Electronic Arts or EA instead of Maxis, it just some other game branch to EA.

Ok I'm sorry about the Russia remark.I got twisted seeing my response to this thread deleted.
My deleted thread was this(sorta):Peg has his heart in the right place but I'm afraid this is will be falling on a company only motived by the money.
We gamers/consumers have the right to be listned to but that isn't how large companies work.Once they get your hard earned money they won't give ya the time of day.Sorry to upset anyone but this is how the Real world works.

As one of the people that helped take the animations apart and Spec them up. I can help with props/effects to a degree The other guy you'd want to talk to about that is redlotus, who knows the effects better than anybody on the site.

I hope this goes somewhere, though I'm trying not to be too hopeful.

EA is a private company if they do that pack they will obviously charge for it.
