10 houses in 24 hours.

Article, while sparse on details, does imply that these meet the building code for that area.

China has building codes? :P

At the moment, however, Chinese construction regulations do not allow multi-storey 3D-printed houses

So did someone actually think to write a law about that, or is it just true by happenstance because existing rules about multi-story buildings specify some condition that these 3D printers cannot meet?

Don't tell me you are surprised that the Chinese might be ahead of the west on use of technology.  When I was on staff at the University of Waterloo, the building I worked in (the Mathematics and Computer Centre) was often referred to as the Math & Chinese building because of the number of Chinese foreign students studying to get advanced degrees in mathematics and computer science.  That was in the late 1970's.
