Have just uploaded a new package North American Freight Engines:

Here you find mods to replace the freight engine and the steam engines as well as additional freight engines.

With the additional mods you get a change to see engines from more than just one railroad at the same time.

BTW: Here some bonus skins that will be installed with the additional freight engine mods:

Well Conrail is sort of a fallen flag as well.

 

Conrail was bought up by CSX and Norfolk Southern, which spilts its rail between them (by 42/58 pro cent).

Today, a small section of Conrail known as Conrail Shared Assets survives and oversees a few rail lines in New Jersey owned jointly by NS and CSX.

And as far I can figure out, it wasn't much passenger train they had.

But to answers you question, not sure I am gong to do Conrail. Don't really fancy them.

Thanks for the reply. am now using your Mods in my game,  Yes you are correct that Amtrak is the only long haul rail in the "US" but there are also a bunch of regional passenger rail lines also.

I really would be interested in the Amtrak passenger replacement mod if you release one.

You are going to add that gradient effect on the top edges of the cars just like you did with the engines later right? Sorry if I sound impatient, I just like illusion of shininess and depth it gives.

Not going to add that gradient to the cars, as the corners are sharp and not round as on the engines.
