What Happened to MaxisGuillaume's Mods?

Has anyone else noticed that they just disappeared from the STEX? What happened?

I don't know about all of them I mostly noticed that I couldn't load this mod.  Whenever I clicked on the link it said error and was gonna make a topic asking what happened to it too.  Then I noticed this topic and noticed this mod was also made by the same person.

I was kinda looking forward to trying that mod out cause it would provide subways in a way.  (and I remember seeing a ton of people say they wanted subways in the game).

Well now it appears that he's re-posting everything that's good.

 

But I can't download that mod since I don't have the EP. And I don't want to get the EP either.

Its not looking very good it has been taken down and not reposted. There was a topic about the mod on the simcity community fourms as well pointing simmers alike to simtroplis to download the mod in the general section iT HAS ALSO GONE ASWELL so its looking like he has had to remove it it possibly for conflicts of intreast reasons vety sad day indeed. Well I honestly belive that we have is that for the good people amoung us that managed to get it downloaded while it was up ( and there was over 300 of them ) to somehow point us towards the lught so to speak so please guys we all need this mod.

MaxisGuillaume's bound to re-post it again, so I would recommend waiting and plus (hearing that you don't have the COT EP), for his new subway mod, you have to have the Cities of Tomorrow EP.

I know that Cap...and i was the first poster in that mod. I only did not download it 'cause i do not own CoT. However i would love to see what the mod does

Ah well, I'm thinking about getting the COT EP for a couple reasons:

 

1. So I can mod for COT and all those people that want COT mods from me

2. So I can enjoy MaxisGuillaume's mod when/if he re-posts it

I have no idea if this is correct but I noticed on @MaxisGuillaume's profile page it says he's in the group "Maxis Team Member" so I'm wondering if it violated the EA/Maxis mod rules and he was forced to take all his mods down until they were approved and the subway mod wasn't.

 

I still don't know how it works.  I'm wondering if it replaces MagLevs or if you can still place both, but MagLevs were used as the base to mod it off of.  I think I remember the description saying it doesn't require ControlNet to run, so does that mean it won't futurize the roads when placed?

 

btw I'd really like to have that mod even if it isn't posted back here (just to try it out at the very least).

Not sure on this, but maybe it's because we now have some new categories to the SC13 section:

 

• Buildings
• Programs & Tools
• Vehicles
• User Interface

 

MaxisGuillaume has now re-uploaded 3 of his mods to the "User Interface" category. It is strange though, as I recall the "MagLev as Subway" mod being in the "Game Mods" category. So perhaps some sort of critical bug was discovered where it had to be removed for now.

 

Probably the best way to check is to politely send him a PM.

Well ... as matter has been removed from everywhere (Simtroplos; twitter; reedit; ...) can be assumed that something was wrong ...
