I am wondering if there is a map out there of New York with the location of all the NYBT BATs on it? Would be a useful resource for anyone wanting to recreate New York, or at least Manhattan.

Yes, and we have been thinking about that (I even started something on using Google maps), but as you might see, there's not been many of us left active, and we rather focus on BATting, which should be a priority. Honestly, we don't have time to finish updating the list of NYBT Uploads either .... It's time consuming, time that can be used for BATting.  But if there are volunteers, we'll offer our help to them and we'll appreciate that very much.

That would indeed be a great resource, not only for CJers and players of SC4 but for the community of batters that want to create stuff, knowing whats already been done ect. Great idea.

Sounds like you've already got something started and hopefully others can offer their services to you, I'd support you if I can in anyway, as I use so many of the NYBT bats, and love them all.

 

I hope more people jump on board and offer you their help, a project like this would be great for the community as a whole I think.

ooo, were ahead of my idea, I was working on a map in paint but still not ready, if you want this afternoon I can upload progress, going from metropolitan club to batery park

Well elavery is going to work on updating the list -gathering all the uploads and info on the with links, and than he'll start creating the map.

 

But since this is a huge task, it would be nice to see someone volunteer for updating NYBT Uploads catalog. We have a template and all the instructions, so, volunteers can apply for the task

was easy for the most part but I complicate the part of the wtc by curves having

I have a big problem

do not know how to get an accurate measure of the streets between rossevel park and Lafayette St

if someone can provide measures of the streets in parts simcity Street would greatly appreciate it

aaron me out of trouble, the only problem is that I found more problems in different parts and enceserio bothers me:

 

the blocks around canal st: are all uneven and costs much calsen

 

litle italy between rosevelt park and lafayette st: the blocks are uneven, some are 4, another 5 and other to 2 (street segments in simcity)

 

soho: under the u.n.y. The streets along the canal st change much until

 

 

 

I'm tired, if someone can give me more information about the length of the streets would be great

Just to give an update, I am putting together an Excel spreadsheet with every New York NYBT BAT where you will be able to search by BAT name, address, creator, and date. I am just systematically adding them by BATer. So far I have all of Aaron Graham's on the list and am now on Darknono's stuff. I am hoping this is a useful resource even without the map. The reason for me to put this together is that putting a map together will be easier with all the information in one place.

as you know we recreate the map of ny, but it fits in simcity 4.

the problem is that we need help, the specific part, financial walk in st.

  streets

water st.

broad st.

william st.

pearl st.

beaver st.

 

any aid which serves, eg like Vlasky few days ago, with 80 broad st.
