Nice video! Being shown how something is done is always better than merely reading it off a tutorial page, so I'm hoping that this video will help people who want to get into modding. :)

    I am brand new to this but I'm eager to learn, the picture of object in parent window won't show.  What amI missing?

    Not entirely sure what you mean. Are you looking at the properties and whatnot in the SimCity_Game.package or an exported package?

    Ok so I found out pictures don't pop up all the time.... My other problem, why dont I have the 2 parent menu items, I only have the one parent.

    So after you make this change, and then export it, does that change just automatically go into effect in-game?

    So is it correct to export the entire package file into a new file? Or just the settings you changed? If only the settings you changed, will the game load that random files properties automatically?

    You do not need to export the entire package. You can export what you want to modify and then just do it. When your work is done export to a new package again ;)

     

    Edit: to override original content place it befor original package (alphabetacally)
