Hi,

I'm trying to make a 20th century metropolis, based on neo-Communist lifestyle. It's not because I favor the politics(Lol, no way), but I'd like to try something new with my cities, after making ancient to post-modern types of cities.

Therefore, I was wondering, if any of you modders would be extremely kind enough to make a statue, as well as any type of high-rise building that has a poster or portrait of the following(in a monochromatic fashion):

So, just copy the face, and the body figure, and make a statue and a high-rise with a portrait of it would be greatly appreciated! ;)

Is it possible to implement new sound files into the game? For instance, I'd like a mod that has the SC2K 'Reticulating Splines' sound file play every time you switch from God Mode to Mayor Mode.

You can turn off the advisors popups.It's in the game options (icon with the gears)

i was wondering if there is a mod for income generating landmarks because in the real world people pay to visit landmarks, so shouldn't you get money for having landmarks in your city?

Hi Folks! I'm working on my old town coastal resort area and wanted to plant some historical tall ships (sail boats) on the pier front as a tourist attraction. However, I could not find ANY such plops anywhere. I found a lot of modern war ships and cargo ship plops but no older wooden ships, like the USS Constitution. Am I missing something here? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Richard.

It's simple enough that anyone can do it. Just open the lot file in Ilive's Reader and edit the property Transit Switch Traffic Capacity to whatever you want. If there's a Catalog Capacity property, set it to the same number.

I know in the Properties XML, it mentions about striking times. How do I change it (or a good "fair value") so that teachers/doctors won't strike when it gets below a certain value?

Hi!

We need more puzzle pieces for Viaducts (Road/Street/Avenue/Rail/You name it). There are a few combinations missing (Y-Shaped Switches in rail for one, a lot of glr in road/avenue/street combinations are missing), and there are no street viaduct pieces at all that I know of (where the street is on a viaduct). Also, it'd be good having a ped-mall option under all pieces, as they really work well with them.

Also, the choices for el-rail over road dual networking are really limited, a lot more pieces need to be added there like el-rail over street/avenue/rail/glr/glr in road etc.

The list would be huge, and I'd say it would be a massive task to complete, but it sure would be awesome!

Already exists, it's at the end of the existing menu.

This has been started multiple times, but has never been seen through to completion.

Due to a limitation caused by the community's demand to be able to UDI on Elevated Rail, we cannot accommodate this and I'll explain why.

The UDI Elevated Train and Trams that you access through the UDI menu aren't actually Elevated Rail trains or Trams, they're a custom Heavy Rail train running on Heavy Rail paths, we can't add a proper Elevated Rail UDI mode.

Because of this functionality, every Elevated Rail path needs a Heavy Rail counterpart in the same place. This means we can't do a parallel dual-network for this without Heavy Rail vehicles like the Heavy Passenger Train and Freight Train running on your ElRail infrastructure. I describe this behaviour, called Deck Jumping, below.

This happens because the game can see the other paths on the tile, but it doesn't care about the height. As far as the traffic simulator is concerned, all paths are on the same height. We cannot fix this without changing fundamental aspects of both networks.

Unless you're talking about intersections with these base networks. As far as I am aware, quite a few of them already exist and a few more are being added in this build, along with a full complement of NWM Intersections.

Here is an ambitious (but destined to be very popular) reskin idea that some talented modder out there will hopefully jump at the chance to be part of.

Expanding on the "additional UDI" like the awesome by swamper77, I am looking for someone who is keen on doing an additional set like this, but for Military. Say maybe 6 additional Military UDI and spawned automata, with those and maybe another 6 vehicles (reskinned from commercial and industrial vehicles in a generic olive green army look). Might even look into a few reskins for props for specialist unit vehicles from Emergency services.

Now here is another expansion on that...can the additional UDI principle lead to a set of a few military aircraft to fly and use as props? I would love to standardise the markings of my Royal Yeoman Marine Corps vehicles and aircraft instead of using vehicles from different sets, and the chance to have, say an additional set where you can fly an F14 Tomcat or F/A18 Hornet in addition to the standard jet, and say a classic Huey, Blackhawk and Jolly Green or Chinook in addition to the Apache is exciting!

A very handy Mod would be similar to the El Rail Facelift, but with the Monorail transit network. It would benefit a lot of players who wish to have Monorail running through their metro areas and not have to deal with strips of grass through a concrete city. If the NAM Team has already done the El Rail Facelift, then sure it can be done with the Monorail Network as well.

Hey Guys! Looking for a mod that replaces stoplights on ROADS, not streets nor highways, with a stop sign for residential neighborhoods and subdivisions. Tired of all the bulky stoplights every block. Also still functionable with real time traffic. Not ploppable but an actual replacement! Is this in existance already? Fingers crossed, Thanks!

No one has ever done this before aqueduct or a elevated pipes for water cause some islands can be tricky to connect water to atleast subway can be converted to el rail same concept i need for my islands in Gotham City Map but for water pipes
