I didn't enjoy it at all. It sounded completely disjointed and I couldn't quite make anything out of the noise. I caught something along the way at various points, but again, I couldn't quite make out what it was.

 

P.D. I like Pink Floyd, but this not what I'd listen to from them.

 

Anyways, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, 'cuz they are going to be in the Super Bowl. +1 cookie for each correct guess of the references they make in the video of other bands.

Elvis, Buddy Holly, The Beatles, ?, David Bowie/Ziggy Stardust?, Sex Pistols, Judas Priest (or some other metal band?), pick a hair metal band (Poison? Motley Crue?), Nirvana, Fall Out Boy?, themselves?  I guess.  Some of them I didn't recognize.  Oh well.

 

7.5/10.  Good song, good band.  I'm not a huge fan of theirs personally, but that doesn't mean I don't respect them.  They are very good, and this is an interesting song for sure.

I haven't decided whether or not to go with 6 or 7 here.  While it's interesting enough to listen to if it comes on the radio, I am more apt to switch around to different channels to see if there's anything I like.  If there's not, this would certainly be good enough to spend a few minutes with.  Very understated, something most popular hip hop is lacking.

7/10 HARD CORE VIKING POP.  I imagine this is what Viking teenie boppers listened to while their dads were off pillaging England and Germany.  It was kind of cool.

 

If we're doing 'ethnic' stuff, let's dig up something from my wife's people:

Yoshida Brothers: Kodou (吉田兄弟：鼓動)  They're finished by 1:30 then it's interview time (but they do strum the Smoke On The Water riff and talk about how classic rock influenced them [which is awesome], if you can understand Japanese).

Well, that's actually impressing, if you consider that playing that is like playing guitar with three strings and the rock influences do show a lot at times.
