Also, any idea how big it's going to be? I have an idea of where I want to put it but I want to make sure it will fit.

    lol.  I can hardly wait myself.  Eq said that he was going to start the final render a couple of days ago.  I really hope it turns out right.

    After my last 50-hour NDEX export, I'm ready to go on this thing.
    I'm guessing the full-base version is gonna be 6x6, but I'm not sure.

    kd, the nightlights on the base look a bit bright and fiddling with the intensities does nothing ... but, at this point, I decided I'd just go for it and am starting the export literally as soon as I close this browser window. Hopefully it won't take more than about 35 to 40 hours, tops. The other pieces I can do overnight, no problem.

    Lot work won't be much of an issue here, as far as I can see, guys; I believe the building is just the right size for the lot.

    Hey, kd, you did one helluva good job on making the base an efficient export; it's nearing the end of the zoom 4s now and it's only been 22 hours ... it should be done by tomorrow morning, so if you give me those updated top segments I can do those maybe both Friday night!

    The base finished! I haven't checked it in the reader yet, but segment 2 is exporting; I *think* the nightlighting is okay for it but I am not sure ... it should be done by this evening ...

    cool eq.  I have no clue why the base lights are still too bright even after fidiling with intensities.  And thanks for the compliment on the optimization, i had too have it really optimized to use my slow computer to work on it.  I hope that has high graphics quality too. And i will get with you tonight on the #3 segment and the base for the growable version which will be released at a later date than the landmark.
    BTW, do you have any pictures, i would love to see some high quality rendered shots, my computer can only handle the lowest quality.

    No way ... there is still work to be done.
    Here is a picture. Note how segment 2 still has no nightlighting.
    It and segment 3 need to be re-exported.

    cool, but you need spots and better nitelites. it's looks real, 33.gif, dark, unintersesting.

    We avoided spots to keep the render times down.

    If you want to add them in, kd, well, at this point in time I'm perfectly fine with re-rendering the base next week ... regardless of how long it takes (I'd guess around 2.5 days or so).

    You are right, but like eq said, we tried to avoid spots, they make the render much harder on the computer.  We where doing the spots earlier, but they where causing it to not even start the render, because it took too much computer power to render with the spots.  Unless I broke it down into 8 different peices, which wouldnt be much fun.
    ps.  and yes, unfortunately there is a delay.  I think it may take three or four more days for render....

    ugh.. i cant wait... thisbuilding is such a nice piece!! its gonna be the crown jewel of my region!!!...but any chance to know how much longer4.gif???
