Haha, big laugh seeing my smug face on that poster.
The story is becoming more important than any city pics and you're doing a great job with it. 44.gif

Geez, sooo many replies, it's fantastic!! London_Wyverns, Mikeaut1, Sc4player, flrscf, MrCinatit, Woodman, Seville, Simwario, Dscampbell, ChicAgo333, Raindog, Newy2, Dark Avatar: thanks for comments and compliments, it's appreciated

Andrew George: I can't really name a date for the friendly match, but as soon as I'm going to update again, I'll let you know how it'll fit in (probably in the winterstop??)
DenMar: welcome to New Holland, the cows are made by Nexis. The lot is called cow pasture and can be found on the STEX (just type nexis in the searchbar)

I guess all of you guys are waiting for updates! I can't tell when the next one will be, I'm too busy with exams at the moment, BUT I did do some work on the region and I'd like to present some teaser pictures of Messelmonde, which is under construction at the moment... Does this remind you of Amsterdam? 2.gif

Messelmonde: construction of a new railway station, and a complete redevelopment of the centre

Damn. I think it's really time I should re-visit Amsterdam some time soon!  Messelmonde might become a great-looking metropolis soon, if it only its name didn't sound so provincial...

2.gif Amsterdam still sounds so much better than Messelmonde, but Messelmonde already looks almost as good as Amsterdam...

It's looking very good utora (alhoewel ik niet de grootste fan van amsterdam ben)! Don't you think that the typical Dutch rowhouses made by vanderaap are looking great? The railway station looks good (vooralhet stationsplein). I hope you'll get some time to update this and good luck with your exams.44.gif

Exquisite work on Messelmonde, utora!  Though I still personally prefer the proliferation of small buildings to the large station, but I guess that's the price of progress.  And to be sure, it doesn't look half bad, what you've did with the centre =)  Come back soon!

This Journal keeps getting better and better and those real pics of Amsterdam reminds me of a set of pictures someone showed to me in my birthday (because I happen to see that Canal with the cars parked in one of those pics someone showed me.).

Thanx so much for voting and commenting everyone! I had some time left.... so it's UPDATE TIME!

Chapter 6: The Great Dig Up and the introduction of Devils Eye

Starring: Frosties, Dylan Sergio Hightower Francisco and Rasputin

    /idealbb/files/Ned3_rs.jpg

The preparations for the Great Dig Up were in full swing. The Institute of Archeology in Nederburg was in a constant chaotic rush to get everything ready in time.

    /idealbb/files/Ned5_rs.jpg

On February 4th of the year 23NHE the great moment had finally arrived. An expedition was about to depart to the far outskirts of New Holland, led by professor Frosties. A few students from the Messelmonde School for Architecture were chosen to join the expedition, one of them was Dylan Sergio Hightower Francisco

    /idealbb/files/Frosties1.JPG                    /idealbb/files/dylan2.jpg

prof. Frosties                                Dylan Sergio Hightower Francisco

In the far nort-eastern corner of the country they would investigate the area and search for ancient remains of long forgotten, maybe even unknown cultures. The excavation site was literally located at the very edge of the known world, in a desolate mountain range called Goedlachs Valley.

    /idealbb/files/region2_rs.jpg  /idealbb/files/region1_rs.jpg

The Frosties-Expedition, as it was called by the local media, left Nederburg by train.

    /idealbb/files/Ned7_rs.jpg

They travelled as far east as possible, to Arendal. From there on, they would travel by car to Goedlachs Valley, a journey through dense forests and dangerous cliffs. They used  well equipped jeeps on their way, but still the voyage was harsh. It was still winter, and the weather could be very unpredictable in these surroundings.

    /idealbb/files/DigUp19_rs.jpg

On February 9th , precisely at 10:30 AM, the expedition reached Goedlachs Valley, and Frosties became increasingly excited.

Nice story, utora! Very good, as always1.gif2.gif. Well, the big question is: Who created those buildings (tempel and pagode)? I think I have to wait for the next update2.gif.

I think Rasputin may be even scarier than the aliens! 11.gif A great update with really interesting landscapes too. 2.gif
