I have spent a good few hours scowering the internet trying to find BATs that are or look similar to buildings found in cities such as Durban, Johannesburg and Cape Town but have had no luck.

I got bored and fed up so I came here for help. Does any one know of any buildings or just lots in general?

Just did a search on the STEX with the keys "South Africa BAT" and got nothing.  Guess you'll have to make some.  First tutorial here.

I'd love if I could but my computer has recently gotten a downgrade and I have been restricted to my favourite programme on it so I picked Simcity 4 and got rid of the rest... Sad, I know...

I've never seen a South African city in SC4, but I understand it has some interesting architecture and I wish to see it replicated.

There's a South African highway set included in the NAM:

So, someone interested in doing so  could BAT some of the buildings in, say, Pretoria or Cape Town.  Also I think some tin shacks and grass huts should be included to look after the townships.  Disgraceful, but present in many tropical climates.

Yeah that would be pretty cool. Earler on this year I found a slum lot

It looks similar to the townships but not nearly as horrible

 

But I think you mean these types of clay huts.

 

Similar concepts are commonly used as holiday houses in game parks but much bigger

 

 

I guess someone could BAT game lodeges aswell, but who?

This is a great idea guys and I think would add a nice touch to our cities.  I wish I knew how to create BATs as I would love to have these huts in my city.   I would love to see more casinos with flashing lights to really jazz up the "strip" in my city.   Does anyone know where I can find flashy casinos BATs?
