Larks!  Haven't seen you in a while.  Or you've been around and I haven't noticed?  I don't know.  I'm busy these days.  Thank the gods that my next job allows me to wear whatever I want, so jeans and superhero t-shirt it will be.

Little of both, I make an effort to pop in once in awhile, Business has really picked up so I have to delegate my time accordingly.

Going to doctors all the time is such a drag , it's really getting old . I feel like a guinea pig . Here , take this and see what happens . o.O

I don't think anyone enjoys doctor visits.

Business picking up is good!  It's getting into a busy season at my old company that I just worked at for the last time today.  I'll be heading to a place that does a fraction of the square footage but is run by much better ownership several hundred miles north of here.

Business attire is okay. I guess I can clean up nicely, but it's more fun looking like some punk kid all the time.

^ Overrated in deed . When I was growing up , I would wear camouflage pants and Rock concert shirts . That style was called "Grit" . Now at almost 45 years of age , still wearing camouflage pants but have graduated to pocket t-shirts . The only difference between my style and a sharp dressed man is only about $100,000.00 a year . And for me , money is nice to have .But it doesn't mean much to me anymore . It doesn't buy happiness , it only camouflages it .

(edit)

And please don't be offended , none intended . Everyone has their own style , and best of luck . Be who you want to be . Follow your dreams , dreams are forever .

In another era we would have worn ruffled collars, breeches, powdered periwigs, and conspicuous fake moles.  I can't imagine how unnatural it would be to try to pull that look off.

Usually you'll catch me on a t-shirt and jeans kind of day. I enjoy dressing more formally when appropriate but do so far less than dressing casually. I have a lot of band t-shirts, most of them Deftones (no surprise there) and lately I've been into just weird, off the wall shirts I find on the internet. Lots of black, a good bit of grey and a few splashes of color. I picked up a blazer a few months ago but haven't really found an occasion in which to wear it.

Yeah , it's kinda funny . Finding CD's and DVD's I feel will be a thing of the past in the not so far future . But as long as you have internet , music and movies are only a few clicks away . Finding a physical piece of media is almost obsolete , it's still out there for now . Give it another decade :???:

I will willingly obtain things digitally if a means of doing so is available that does not require dealing with nonsense like installing the site's software that will try to auto-sync everything (seriously, right click and save as, it's a simple and straightforward concept, don't deny me it!) or the downloads having DRM such that when I change computers suddenly half of everything stops working.

I'm old fashioned, I'd rather have physical copies I can call my own rather than rented access to someone else's files, but I guess I get the impermanent state all media is becoming.

I'm still that way with Movies (Slowly been upgrading DVDs to blu ray over the years) Will probably upgrade to 4k discs too, and video games because I like to trade them in after I finish them since I never go back, But with music I really feel no attachment aside from collecting a vinyl record whenever I rarly see one I like. Cannot remember the last time I used a CD, I play from an NDX 500 using USB flash drives now, Amazing how many albums you can play off a flash drive these days.

Amazon apparently lets you buy CDs and gives you the MP3 files too. Technically all I needed was the files, but I like to have the CDs lying around.

Yeah, I can relate, although since I'm not much of an audiophile I'm fine with lowly mp3s.

"Greetings from M. Gandhi, ruler and King of the Indians...  Our words are backed with NUCLEAR WEAPONS!"

In a programming oversight in "Civilization," Gandhi's AI aggressiveness on a 10-point scale was given the lowest assignable setting of 1 so as to represent the real-life Gandhi's pacifism, but the discovery of the "Democracy" tech further reduces an AI's aggressiveness automatically by 2, inadvertently causing Gandhi's 8-bit AI aggressiveness counter to wrap backwards to 255, which wasn't even on the scale.  On a aggression scale of 1-10, with 10 being Genghis Khan of the Mongols, Gandhi's became 255!  Don't ever let him get nukes!

I lost lots of hour on that game, and lost lots of games that turned into nuclear apocalypses thanks to pacifist, democratic Gandhi.  A strange game, the only winning move is not play.

So I just want to throw an  idea out there I have had for a long while.  Darth Vader is the hero of the Star Wars saga, everyone likes to think him the bad guy and the bad guy in a movie to look up to when making bad guys and Luke the clean cut hero... I call bullshyt.  Darth is the one, as predicted, that brought balance to the force, not through his seed but rather he was the one to physically end the Sith line. He took out the master and apprentice. He helped in nearly ending the Jedi and the Sith bringing a balance of good and evil. Yes he took the long path through the dark side but he needed to in order to be able to get close to the Sith. At the end of the day folks all Luke did was a little talking, Anakin actually sacrificed himself to end it all.    What do you guys think?

Darth Vader = Hero

I thought about this, and am still thinking about it because though I've thought about this, I still have more thinking to do as to stop thinking about it would mean not to think.

Because it is totally unthinkable that the Gandhis would back their words with nuclear weapons...

I think that the prequels were garbage and I ignore them completely.  Vader sacrificing himself was redemption and he probably would not have done it had Luke not been willing to sacrifice himself for what he believed.

Civ IV was my favorite.  I didn't play V because I don't want to be forced to go through Steam.

@NMUSpidey  Yes but Luke could be replaced with say Leia, and he is being influenced by bad ol papa palp to kill but it is he alone that has to make the decision. It is he alone that has the power to act on said decision so it is his choice to act good.

I use to play a lot of Age of Empires I and II years ago, I own the big ol box for Age of Empires III but I never actually loaded it onto any of my computers so never played it.

I thought about this, and am still thinking about it because though I've thought about this, I still have more thinking to do as to stop thinking about it would mean not to think.
