To All: After a week of updates and four pages worth of this journal, the Interstate Highways update series is now completed! It was fun to do something different for an update for a change. Next up is the major Ocean Point update. Sorry, the preview update won't come tonight. However, it should come tomorrow, so look out for it then.

hmm... im surprised that i havent seen this journal anywhere....

 

its really nice and i read some of the pages... and i noticed something....there isnt any streets... its all roads... just wondering do you ever use em? they do work in some situtations and they do save you money and in suburbs they looks nice...

TMS: Thanks for the compliments. You probably haven't seen this region because its basically been off and on since last summer. The reason I don't have streets is mostly for the traffic capacity. That, and there can't be diagonal streets, which I don't understand why they don't have.

To All: Sorry, but there probably will not be an update today. Since I'm on the Mapp Squad and Monday is my day to upload maps (Up to 2 every Monday), I probably will spend the time finishing up two maps to upload which will be the only ones released by me this week. The the maps won't really slow down the progress of this CJ, there just probably won't be updates on most Mondays.

Whoa, I cant believe that I missed the update, the table ofContents page 22 looks great because of the awesome regional pic. Well I look forward for the next update on Tuesday or whenever.

I guess it did take a lot of work, never saw such dedication and details about roads and highways in a CJ .

To All: Both of my maps for this week are released on the STEX now. So I can concentrate my efforts on this CJ. The next update, I have decided, will be a small update consisting of two things. First, new regional screenshots taken from the Region Census (Which I downloaded today and I am very pleased with). I plan to include both satellite and transportation pictures. I also plan on providing a couple of pictures of Ocean Point as the preview for the major Ocean Point update, which should begin Wednesday or Thursday.

you know, comdude, there is so much to like about this journal, but i guess there is one thing i have taken for granted which not only seperates this from other journals, but is a great help to those looking for that certain update from the past: the table of contents at the top of each page. what a great idea this is...and it looks all the much better with the regional view in the background.

MrCinatit: Thanks for the compliments! I'm really glad that you like the Table of Contents. However, all of the credit goes to TheJerseyDevil73 from his amazing Edmonton CJ. He's the first to come up with the TOC idea. A few other CJs have followed suit as well, including mine.

To All: The update should still come as planned this evening. It will consist of four pictures (Relatively small update):
1. Regional satellite picture from the Region Census.
2. Edited regional transportation map from the Region Census. 3. A preview picture of Ocean Point.

4. Another preview picture of Ocean Point.

I'm still getting down the details for the major Ocean Point update, but at the time it looks like it will be a three or four part update and will go from tomorrow until Saturday, Sunday or Monday.

I'll also include a couple of preview pictures of Ocean Point for the major upcoming Ocean Point update. The City of Ocean Point hasn't seen an update in a long time, many pages ago, so it's definately ready for a huge update.

Very impressive region! I especially like the terraforming; it seems the scale is just right! I love that large peninsula to the right. I'm currently doing a lot of terraforming for my new CJ (Shhht!...don't tell anyone), and I'm trying to figure out an accurate scale, 'cause for some reason you always make things like rivermouths, peninsulas and bays too small in comparison to real life. But this region seems just the right size
