Wow this CJ is good.The region of Ilitj you have there seems to be based on Prague.And aren't Staromesto and novemesto districts of prague and the river really looks like the Vlatava River isn't it?Anyways,keep up the good job.The CJ is great!

First of all: Thanks for all the kind words. Every little comment is well appreciated..

 

Frogface:  This city is nowhere near finished. In fact, I'm trying to rebuild a city I lost while saving (and stupid me didn't make a back-up). Ilitj will probably expand in every direction..

 

Dark Avatar: Yes, you're right in a way. I've been to Prague a couple of times, and though Ilitj isn't intentionally based on any city in particular, memories of Prague and other beautiful European cities have of course given me some ideas...

Gusjin: Ilitj castle, St Irina Cathedral, Tarkin Square, Ilitj Museum.

Love the Ferry Terminal! Also love the use of foreign language in the names and pictures of cities. Keep this CJ alive! It's too cool to let die. (I know it hasn't died, and is nowhere near dying, but I just wanted to say it.)

Yes, those Jenx 19th century blocks in Staromesto look fabulous.

 

But I also like the theme of this journal in general, and the pompous socialist-style plazas and palaces - very accurate.  Lovely flags and coats of arms, and the cyrillic script just adds the litte extra originality needed to make this an outstanding journal.
