I just found Rodina & read all the posts, sepsis, and I hope to see you back here.  You realistically rendered a proud historic country & a realistic authoritarian state for us; thanks!

No, please don't stop Rodina yet...we haven't tested that new "experimental" weapon yet...Whoops...

Anyway, on a serious note, Rodina is a really realistic CJ, just like I'd imagine any former-communist country (or in Rodina's case currently Communist!) to be like, I'm sure that is you bring it back it will be jut as good if not better!

Well, I hope the responses to your announcement make you realize that we here at Simtropolis will miss you and Rodina, regardless of your own feelings about this site and this community.

In any case, as we all know, Lenin vechna zhivoy! (Lenin lives forever!)

That's quite a sad thing that one must leave the City Journal section especially Rodina. I hope because of all these replies that you turn around and bring back Rodina!

Oh Rodina lives on - just not on Simtropolis. You can follow it over on Peg's site, if you're still so inclined. Have a look here.

Even the KGB can't stop you!...38.gif

Sepsis ..... ofcourse everyone agrees that you deliverd a great piece of work with you CJ

but you have almost never complimented people for there CJ/BAT skills yourself .... you have almost never been spotted in someones other CJ ....

And also when i look at the STEX i only see you making a request sometimes but almost never give a compliment ...

what i'm trying to say is that you are asking BATters to do something for you but you actually almost never thanked them for there contributions ( at least in public almost never)

Still ... you CJ is great and people like it ....

I can be wrong ofcourse but this is the thing i'm thinking when reading your post

You can find the wall props in the landmarks section at the official site. I think the file is called Castle ramparts.

    Is this true?

    The masterpiece is over?

    .....8.gif.......

I can't belive it....And here I was playing the fool beliving this perfect CJ would continue forever....I understand if RL is getting in the way or if the community has grown cold.We all have these feelings and the Bat community is kinda half dead anyway so good luck getting much from them....I am confused though....I have seen your work alot around ST are you just ending the CJ....or are you thinking of leaving aswell?

oh this is a sad sad day....

You have inspired alot of my works...not often shown in my CJs,but I loved the soicalist ways of buildings cities....I loved making little districts and semi-ghetteos....

You will be forever missed Comrade Sepsis!!!

Velmy Krasny! (sorry for my awful czech)

but i really love your socialist state, its wot every young communist dreams about lol : )

    Just a request though,

what about if u made like a travel guide for Rodina (or is it not open to the rest of the world?), n that way you can condense all the many beautiful sites and cities for us fellow comrades to see without having to comb through the 21 pages of your CJ for glimpses of ur amazing creation.

Its just a suggestion, but i wuld luv to see it!

Sepsis...your CJ has always been a favourite of mine...and, I know that it is not 'dead'. Anyone wanting to follow it should check out Sepsis' signature for the link to where the CJ is active.

    Comrades!

Tomorrow it's time for Chairman Sepsis to head north for the yearly two-week holiday at the small datja deep in the Rodinian woods.

    flarken4qp9.jpg

A place for harmony and contemplation, far away from TV & computers.. Oh bliss!

The tiny church where a very young Sepsis once was baptized (BAT anyone?  Partay )

    The occasional neighbour

    The nearby Thai temple

    ..and the beautiful forest

..and when back home it might actually be time to call this CJ back to life again.. 10.gif

Litvino is a small town located in eastern Rodina, not very far from the Russian border..

Winter in the Socialist State of Rodina

One of the worst snowstorms of the last decades recently hit the northern parts of Rodina. The towns Most and Krsj virtually shut down after more than one meter of snow fell during the first five hours of the storm. Roads, rail and airport was completely inaccessible and the government issued a state of emergency. Fortunately, there are no reports of casualties although many has been taken to hospital..

And a couple of days later, when the weather cleared up:

    Most

    most061112ahh1.jpg

    Road and rail still blocked..

    most061112fjd7.jpg

At the airport planes are waiting for clearance after two days of zero visibility..

The factories are back on the power grid and people can go to work again..

Still plenty of snow, but life is getting back to normal..

    Krsj

Lots of snow here too, but people seem to enjoy the clear sky even though it still is rather cold outside..

The Church of the Holy Baptism looks rather picturesque surrounded by the meter-deep snow..

The monks of the 14th-century Krsj monastery are still evacuated due to the lack of modern heating..
