    Hmmm kk I'll be checking on this later today probably in a couple hours so let me know your results on the new city. As far as I know a new dlc shouldn't cause issues, and am kind of stumped as I am using the same files as the zip on my sims for a bit now and multiple cities seem to be fine so I am not sure whats causing it. Do you use any other mods? Though I don't think any mods currently conflict with mine anywho just safe to know if you use any others

    I have been using Oppie's mods, the car crossover and a few other I found. But they were all from here.. Yea it is kind of weird. I was starting to think about reinstalling SimCity as well. I will try a new city and let you know either way. Thanks again.

     

    Update 5/31: So far no problems with a new city today. I will let you know if any thing happens.

    What is weird is even the regional view of Tudor Isle is showing with no roads outside of the box. I had casinos, garbage, police all outside. I encroached on the Great Works area but was not building a great works. City will still not load and program crashes.

    hi i have been using the  mod already few weeks seams everything's are fine. but when the game up date to the 4.0 the problem is coming up.

    when i start the game the first 10-15 mins is seams everthing fine but when after 10-15 mins when click inside the menu  button all the number detail are mass up , like when i click  the park it shout be show the numbers of the peoples but it came up amount : number ,and not just that button . is all the button

    Please check if you have the BulldozerZones mod installed, remove that and also 0.92 has been released. The installer for 0.92 should remove the mod causing that issue for you

    I have question regarding the add on to the buildings out side of the box. Did the limits change? After 4.0 update, with casinos I am being capped at 3 addon and I am only able to add 1 additional reclamation line to my recycling center . The trucks are fewer too and limiting faster. Is this happening to anyone else? I am using SimROller .92 and a few other mods from here?

    Hrmmm let me double check that david, the recycling center is possible I missed it but the casino issue - was it the sleek casino? if so that should be fixed in 0.93 when i release it (just compiling some other updates together before I push it)

    i just thought i say this but i have just realized that the game uses a load order for mods so i suggest you start all .package file with "1_"


    Weird things seems to get easier the more i do it... is that a bug?

    Hmmm maybe that explains some of the odd issues ive been had with putting the file to an external package, ty for the heads up will apply the naming scheme next update

    Sounds good.

     

    I was using the Gambling House. The first one I limited at 3 add-ons with no lodging, the second after 3 add-ons but I was able to place the lower level lodging, it also said not approved. Is it me or does the upper level rooms just not want to stay in place? I try to place as much as I can outside of the box to save the actual box for RCI.  This is also happening with trade depot and trade port. I started my region before the 4.0 update but the city is post 4.0/ dlc.

     

    I also have had issues with the radio tower on the police precinct not placing on the precinct but the ground. (But,I can live with that.)

     

    So far I have had not had any roll back or other problems with my new city and I am running sandbox mode..

     

    You have done some great work. Thanks for the help...If I could ask would it be possible to get a version of the Culture attractions for outside the box. :D

    Edit 6/2-3:30pm: I also noticed on my freeway ramp the vehicles are jumping to the road to the median strip before entering/exiting the freeway. I did not see this before 4.0. Any ideas? I am using the latest version of the car crossover mod and I am not using the bus lane mod.

    Thank you for reporting that david! It turns out I had not replaced the addon modules models when maxis patched them to improve them! Sorry for taking so long to notice and thanks again for bringing it to my attention. Regarding the precinct thing - its one of the first modules I had put out and I hadn't realized at that point I could have left that snappable t.t. I'll change that now!

     

    edit 21:54pm GMT+10: Updated to 0.93a should fix most of your problems david. Btw what were yoiu referring to the cultural attractions outside the box? As far as I know all of em are except the edifico copan (a little weird). Or were referring to the french police station?

    Does the water-looking icon mean my Sims do not have to hold their breath anymore? :thumb:

     

    I have no idea about the French police station, as I am not using any of the deluxe expansion packs..

     

    Also and may it is the newbie in me, I cannot find the culture attractions in the BOC menu. I have the expo center and the pro stadium listed under Buildings. I have the amusement park under Attractions along with six homeless tents. I don't have the Crest dlc (cant find it here in No.Cal, pretty weird on that one). I am not sure what I may be doing wrong.

     

    Thank you again for your hard work. In the future, would you prefer/ is it easier, if I have a problem to use the BOC thread in ST/Exchange or here?

    @David, this threads probably better. Also the cultural buildings should be under the "Landmark" menu.

    @Ingeli, The window powerplant actually might not be ploppable outside. I actually completely forgot to go back and look over that from ages ago. Will check later today

    Hrmmmm that is odd, not sure why it wouldnt be detecting for you since its a direct copy and paste from my version I am using hrmmmm. Even odder that the buttons left and right of where it should be appear (it should be between parks and attractions). When I am home today I'll double check some of the files might be a naming issue with the prop.

    @Overdoze sorry not too sure what you are referring to?

    At one point the package came with a new bulldozer tool added into the zoning menu, but I have removed that because it was causing some issues. The scripts for making all the regional freeway and regional train tracks bulldozable has been merged into the Scripts_XXXXXXX.package too (David S you can actually delete that BreaktableTrainandFreeway.package from SiMCityUserData\Packages\)

     

    edit: Btw if anyone else reads this could you let me know if you are experiencing the same issue with David S above with the "Landmarks" icon not showing? The button should be between "Parks" and "Attractions" (like in this pic https://i.imgur.com/7bTe42e.jpg)

    I am going to delete all mods and reinstall just the .93a to rule out any conflicts. I will let you know sometime tomorrow afternoon.

    (btw in your picture your Great Works icon is different than mine. I dont know if that means anything) also based on you picture, in comparison my menu looks squished. The transport tab is slightly cut off and I really dont see how another tab/button would fit. Could this be a screen setting/resolution issue? (I am a total computer neopyhte.)

    Also with City Hall I could only place 2 addons before I limited. I am starting to feel like I broke something. Thanks for all the help.

    Casinos work fine now.

    Just a thought..you mentioned that other orientations of buildings would make things messy and crowded and I agree on the same menu.. would it be possible to have a second BOC button in the corner with the items rotated 90 degrees? I am sure it is harder than I think to do,and of course if you had the time.

    hi your mod is kind of a master piece but will u fix the mayor home ? because now after the v93 the city hall now can upgrade but mayor house still cant full upgrade, and also will u add the German train station and the Oral-B DLC?? because for some of the players like me is in Hong Kong,there is so hard to get that Oral-B DLC , even i would like to pay the price to get it but until today i still cant fine any one to get for me or some other player , >.< thats mean may be your mod will be my last chance to get it :thumb:  :yes: and also the library too :D

    Hey, definitely sounds like a resolution issue. I'll look into moving some menus into another menu and see how that works.

    RE: Townhall, Hrmmmm thats odd, I had to do a little weird work around where theres those X icons (they act as a duplicate of the Dept Finance, and others (dept finance has 2 ill explain). This is to offset the plop limits as you see the 0/1, 0/2 each upgrade. Since I had it earlier with only 2 menu items for say Dept of Finance it would be 2/1 on first plop, then when you unlocked the 2nd tier, you'd be at 2/2 and thus locked and cant actually plop your 2nd. So I added duplicates of all the items (so instead of increasing by 2 itd be 3) thus on first plop 3/1, and 2nd you'd be 6/2, and so on. This worked but I needed to add an additional finance plop to offset another lock later on. This also now becomes an issue because say you go 0/4 without plopping any and then plop your dept of finance, it will lock since its 4/4 instantly.

    Long story short, try having your dept of finance first plopped then the rest and it should unlock properly.

     

    also regarding the rotation, turns out I won't be able to do it as it requires editing the base model and I can't do that without altering it to only one rotation and itd mess up inside plops

    if you use the "Crossover All roads.package" you don't need the other crossover.packages the others are for those that wish to select which particular roads the the mod should apply to by

    no idea but none of those files contain anything to do with lane positioning

     

    any more off topic here and i will feel bad so you can respond if you need to in my car crossover thread

    @the freeway median question: Hrmm i THOUGHT that was something that was a change I applied but I reverted it in 0.93a, and its still happening huh? Hrmmmm not sure now if its something I did or something else though besides that one reverted thing to the interchange I hadn't done anything else.

    First of all i'd like to thank you for this amazing work.

    Without you,pigma, trgs and oppie this game makes no sense to me.

    So really thank you man .

     

    I've been playing around with your mod since release and i encounter a bug/flaw  :

    I can only put half of the modules for the buildings like school ect when the bag of trix is in my folder.(it says it's full capacity only with 2 class rooms for ex)

    except for this issue your pack is perfect, does anyone encountered this bug ?

     

    I removed all of your pack and i could put the other half of the modules remainings.

     

    Your mod combined with trgs latest version for tunnels and overpasses gives me hope for this alpha build of a SIm City.

    Thats an issue with the scripts package.

    1- Are you up to date with 0.93a?
    2- Delete SimCity-Scripts_264539504.package in (OriginGames\SimCity\SimCityUserData\EcoGame\
    3- Run the installer.bat from my mod again or just extract the SimCity-Scripts_264539504.package from my mod download into the folder above (OriginGames\SimCity\SimCityUserData\EcoGame\

    I have been playing non-sandbox recently and have been using a gradeschool capped at 4 like normal
