Sometimes, the most futuristic cities are those that aren't futuristic to begin with. They may not have flying cars, fusion power plants, spaceports and cyborgs, but you can still feel the wind of the days that hasn't come yet.

After steampunk, dieselpunk, atompunk, cyberpunk and nanopunk, it's time to welcome a new punk, the solarpunk. Solarpunk is about green cities with more trees than buildings, renewable energy sources, eco-friendly technologies and a high living standard and spiritual level for everybody. Unlike cyberpunk which is high tech and low live, solarpunk is high life and reasonable tech. And unlike steampunk and atompunk, solarpunk is more plausible thanks to the advances of technology and the rise of environmental conscience.

Another artist I've been following in DeviantArt is JamesF63, who has made a lot of beautiful futuristic pieces of art. He mostly draws sky cities, flying vehicles and family spacecrafts/houses, all taking place in a post-scarcity future in which money, work, war, hunger and poverty doesn't exist anymore, the secrets of UFO technologies are available to everybody, mankind has made contact with friendly aliens, the deep state (NWO) has been dismantled and people are truly free from any kind of world government. A spiritual and technological more advance civilization.
