The Alone in the Dark reboot of a few years ago was an absolute mess. The controllers were so clunky the game was near unplayable. Its the first game that I put down after 30 minutes because it was such a mess.

I suck at making games myself. The gameplay in a car racing game I made with Game Maker (and never released for download for this very reason) was similar to 'Taxi Racer'. I made a simple 3d city layout, had simple arrow key controls and pretty much made a complete pile of rubbish. Except unlike TR there wasn't even a point to the game you just raced and timed your lap...

 

I think my city sim game Virtucity deserves a mention here.

The game lacks curved roads, lacks any actual 'glass box'. So pretty much its a Simcity clone game but with poorer gameplay and graphics. I hate myself and everything so much lol

True. And I gotta go with the Nerd on this one, Silver Surfer does suck bad. The NES was before my time, but it was stained by games like Action 52, Silver Surfer, Nightmare on Elm Street, the list goes on.

But what takes the cake and eats it too are the CDI Mario and Zelda games. Those franchises are LEGENDARY. Like, Mario 64, SMB 3, Mario World, those are fantastic, but then this "Hotel Mario" garbage comes in and damages the reputation of gaming itself. And how 'bout Zelda? It's no secret that I love this series. You got some of the best games ever, like Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, the list goes on. But 3 HORRIBLE CDI GAMES!!! Ugh,... They don't even need to be talked about.

I feel you Mr Saturn. One of the worst games I have ever play... no... the worst game I've ever play is Empire Earth 3. I love the Empire Earth (E.E.) series. The first one was unique and original, with epic battles and music. The Art of Conquers expansion lift the game up. Wars on alien landscapes, with robots, cyborgs and spacecrafts, with superior music and epic sound effects!!! Enough said!
 

 
E.E.2 wasn't something unique, but still you can't ignore it. It's one of the most advanced real strategy games I've ever play, with a great collection of buildings, units, civilizations, time ages, strategies and powers. A highly recommend game. But E.E.3 (2007) is the most hideous monstrosity, the most epic fail, the absolute catastrophe, the ultimate parody of the legendary E.E. series. Ridiculous intelligence, 3 "civilizations", 5 time ages, cartoon graphics, terrible quotes, a horrible version of the Rise of Nations world conquest campaign and the list goes on. This piece of junk makes Tiberian Twilight (2010) and Simcity 2013 looks great!

 

No way, I'll still play Tiberian Sun (1999), Empire Earth (2001) and Simcity 4 (2003)

I can remember a baseball game on C64, though I can't recall the exact name.  It would have to be the worst I've ever had the [dis]pleasure of experiencing.  Poor graphics and all, but that wasn't the point.  It played, it scored, for a basic baseball game it was fine.  The trouble was when you could never win.  Not even with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th with a 27-0 lead.  Give me a break!

 

And it wasn't always just that game.  C64 = the "cheatingest" computer/AI ever made!

The Sims is not as worse as WRC 2 on PS3! This game was awful, the handling was horrific, the cars were unrealistic... Only the landscapes were plaisant even if they weren't in conformity with the reality.

I forgot to mention that while there are far worse games out there (such as Big Rigs and Petroleum Tycoon), the worst game I ever played was SimIsle. It made little-to-no sense, had a tiny map size (where you could only see one or two tiny islands at a time), the native population often turned to creating narcotics from some local flower, the menu and commands were unintuitive, and I could never find out how to assign advisors/workers or change production. The farthest I was ever able to do was create Beach Resorts and make the warehouse (which was stocked automatically by the loggers) send wood waste to burn in the power plants.

Since it's Christmas, let's talk about horrible games based on stories from the Bible. That's right, Christian-themed "educational" games. Most of them made for old Nintendo systems, especially NES, but without any endorsement from Nintendo. Those games have been made by a game company called Wisdom Tree (Google it) and you can play a few of them in their website. Bible games like Bible Buffet, where you're blowing off snowmen's heads which has nothing to do with the Bible, and Sunday Funday, where you're blowing up random people on your way to church. Yeah, very educational and very Christian too

 

Angry Video Game Nerd have made a few episodes about them. Because of his very angry language, I can't link them here. Search them in YouTube to find them out... for as long as you're 18 (or 21) and over.

Airport Simuation 2014 is WORST GAME ever i played - its was boring game - you have to send the trucks and things to gate and back and also falsely adversted - example

Not only is this game awful it is also falsly advertised: It clearly says in the description that there are "Many management and business options for the expansion of terminals and extension of runways" which there are none. Not a single one. It also says its available in german, french and italian which isnt the case either.

The worst game(s) I've ever played was those burger king games. However, my absolute most hated game ever is The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. That game had so much potential and the Todd Howard crew made an abomination of it.

SODA Off Road Racing for PC

I can't even belive that the creators of the NASCAR games made this.

The "3D" graphics look more like sprites, the voices sound so bad you can't even understand them, it's near impossible to even move up a place, you have to use the arrow keys, and the track creator doesn't even work. Those are just some of the faults with this game.

Anybody mention Extreme PaintBrawl? That game was god-awful only an 0.7 out of 10.0 on IGN. And to think I actually bought that game..... a waste of money.
